depends if the lights are on or not.... I prefer it with dim lighting, enough to see the pleasure without all the flaws...
Whatever you say
hmmm, to compliant

as someone of high social standing, I have to inform you that we do not think about class or lower people at all. Therefore we do not consider ourselves better than the "hoi polloi".
Siamone, I think you may not be this way but I really beg to differ that most Thais are not this way as I have seen it time and again with my own eyes.
I have just noticed your post
ermmm, it was a joke, I am not really high class, honest
anyway, I agree with your serious note, a lot of Thais are insufferable snobs

I am sorry but that is blatantly naiive. There is plenty of job oportunities in Thailand. No girl needs to screw farang for money. It is just that many of the, especially from Isan, do so because the are too lazy to work.
The "no social welfare" argument does not hold water.
Yes, plenty of jobs, if you have some education and live in the right area.
As for being lazy, you try working in a bar for 10/12 hours and see how long you last. Don't be so judgemental and try talking to some of the girls.

Its rain in my heart....
your avatar makes more sense than your post

In my opinion, safely convicted sex offenders should be "Hung, Drawn and Quartered".........which is medieval, but appropriate
you know as well as anyone, there is no such thing
even in cases where the accused has admitted his crimes, later events have shown him to be innocent
so any corporal/capital punishment should be avoided, as they are inhuman and irreversible
-
What I find amusing is that every time there is a crackdown, they are basically admitting that up until that time, they have not done their job.
that is exactly it!!
the dear law enforcers (yes, there are laws) are suddenly reminded by some event, that they have not been enforcing whatever it is. They then make a big fuss about enforcing those laws for a few days, until people are not looking anymore, then they go back to taking the usual bribes and lazing around.
is that clear?

Hey Spuds, why do you spell "centre" the American way "center" in your posts?
You are BRITISH- don't let the side down old boy!!
Maybee their way makes a more sensible spelling -but that's not the point.
Wishing you GOOD LUCK once again, and yes- we all want to see the Pics!!
TP.
hey,you are pedantic too!!
and if sensible, it should be spelt senta

Suzuki Best 125 limited. no electric start but sexy looking bike with big storage space under seat. Also - no bulky dash like wave. At the end of the day its the bike that felt most comfortable.
that is a good choice....and you ignored every reply to your post!!
I bet it is a nice colour though

In all of my eight years in this country, I have to say that farangs are the most unfriendliest bunch of people here that another farang could ever meet. I have lost count of the amount of times that I have walked past a farang in the street and have tried to get eye contact in order to exchange a friendly nod, or even said hello and just been completely ignored.
Why would you go ahead to assume this applies to everyone? My guess is that these folks just didn't want to have anything to do with you and, on the available evidence, I applaud their choice.
Did I say that I assume that this applies to everyone? Can't remember saying so.
How would folk not want to have anything to do with me, without ever having spoken to me and finding out what a nice chap I actually am?
Actually, you are the kind of farang that I would avoid at all costs in this country. Also, it's people like you who clog up this site, in terms of sending in pathetic replies just for the sake of it.
Go away, please!
I love you Mr Reality
no, you did not say it applied to everyone, only all you have met in eight miserable years in this country.
No, you didn't say that either, I just made it up to make you mad.

My guess:
Siamone expects Felix, who is a journalist (a man who works with words - a man whose whole living revolves around language) to be able to tell the difference between 'riding' & 'ridding', 'parlor' & 'parlour' (bit dodgy that one - US versus UK spelling) and 'rain ' & 'reign'.
yes, your guess is nearest!!
although maybe I was just making fun of "the man of words"

I'm glad you got the answer you AND I were looking for! I hope this thead is not dead, for I have more questions on Thai gold. I usually go through Dubai on my way to Thailand and it seems to me the quality and price is much better than in LOS. Anyone have a comment?
how can quality differ? I thought gold was gold, so 23ct should be the same. Or are you referring to workmanship?
I can imagine prices can vary though

I just like the fun!!
although there have been times when someone has taken me seriously

This changes once you marry a Thai Lady , if you are lucky, I have 8 years marriage and an overall 11 year relationship with my good lady.
Once you have this mileage behind you, you will be able to see both sides of the ever decreasing circle.
Good post Tyree !
agreed, sounds like sense, and good luck
I just don't understand how many sides a decreasing circle has!! both implies two, maybe an inside and outside?

Since no one has mentioned it, my friends in the restaurant business swear by--
Phuket Beer.
It's a small brewery but distributed in major cities.
you got it wrong...that is what tourists say after their first taste of Chang!!

No, I am not in BKK. I live in Las Vegas actually but was born and raised in Chicago. Actually there is another Cubs fan on here as well, his name being Jeff1. He lives in Chicago too. So you're amongst friends, even if it is just the three of us.
Welcome!
I am sure you are amongst friends, even if they have never heard of cubs

aha!
I have just read the whole thread again!
first you called him a "impotent tight fisted <deleted>"
now you tell us he "is in forced celibacy due to potency problems"
I am very much surprised that he did not kill you!
I cant think of a better way to make somebody homicidal that to taunt them like that
You deserve what you got i think
oh come on!! nobody deserves violence, although, as you say, it seems he did incite it.
It would be nice to hear the other guys side of things....very different, I bet
neighbours, dee dee dee di dee dum

it is interesting that people can say the nastiest things to others, and apparently get away with it by attaching a "smiley" at the end

Does anyone know, is there somewhere in Thailand that has waves big enough to surf or bodyboard? I've been to Patong during November. Now living in Isaan and craving waves... Thanks for any help...
Chiang Mai is good at the moment

On the next Thailand Today,
Bangkok says ME FIRST and asks bordering provinces to keep the flooding water out of the capital.
No plan on tap for riding the new airport of 200 thousand migrating birds as test flights get underway.
The redemption of a massage parlor kingpin, the short rain of Miss Thailand and a history lesson on one of Thailand’s most infamous streets.
On the next Thailand Today, each weekday at 5pm, midnight and 5am.
That's the trouble with "spellcheck" Felix, it has no respect for journos

Thailand's war on drugs enjoyed and enjoys massive public support - End of story.
I believe Pol Pots mass killings in Cambodia enjoyed massive public support there as well - there were no complaints from the Cambodians at the time......
well, there were, but those that complained joined the dead ones
I think you are incorrect about massive public support too.
Read my post one more time, and then think a little bit. Get it now?
yes, I read your post again, same as the first time. You equated "massive public support" with "no complaints" that, I repeat, is nonsense
don't be so arrogant and patronising

yep, I make good mistakes too
I was at dinner party in London, we were talking about tattoos
I said I wanted one, they politely asked me where, so I replied "up my bum"
stunned silence, until my hubbie explained I meant on top of my butt
I get my English from him anyway!!
