I would love to work in Thailand in a real job. I taught for a few years but that was not for me but some guys seemed to like it. Kids stop being cute about the 3rd week and it becomes a drag IMO.

I met a young guy who runs the most popular forum for Pattaya. He seems to be doing Ok so I guess it is possible.

Why not teach English in Thailand and keep working on the blog and making a name for yourself?

I think deaf people can drive in most countries. I know the US just requires you to have a passenger side mirror.

I got a tourist SIM in Singapore at a 7 11 and the clerk had to fill out a form recording my paasport. I think its the same for Thailand now.

I agree with you and something expats have been fighting for years.

Medicare is useless if you live outside the US but you even have to keep paying the $104/month for part B if you think you might need it one day. 10% penalty per year if you cancel it.

I don't think children can be fined for overstay. There is an age cut off but not sure. Maybe 16?

I assume you have medicare part D? Hate to break it to you but it is illegal for you to keep that plan if you live outside the US.

If you ever move back you can start it again after a few months.

You and your brother would be guilty of a felony if you ship those drugs to Thailand and lie about your address to the SSA.
