    Some advice please. My British friend will be travelling to Thailand next month to marry his Thai girlfriend. Is it possible to apply for Non O in Thailand after marrying and if not are there any other options other than returning to UK to apply.

    My friend has recently obtained his freedom to marry form and on the form it says "must marry in Bangkok Metro." However he wishes to marry in Buriram and would like to know wether that is permitted. He rang the British Embassy and was told they don't know. Does anybody out there know the answer?
