Some advice please. My British friend will be travelling to Thailand next month to marry his Thai girlfriend. Is it possible to apply for Non O in Thailand after marrying and if not are there any other options other than returning to UK to apply.

My friend has recently obtained his freedom to marry form and on the form it says "must marry in Bangkok Metro." However he wishes to marry in Buriram and would like to know wether that is permitted. He rang the British Embassy and was told they don't know. Does anybody out there know the answer?

As this site helped me immensely to get to this point I thought I would share. My wife and I arrived at Immigration 9.30am was well received at the reception desk by a very helpful lady. Checked all my paperwork, only needed one copy of each item, then I discovered I forgot to do a transaction for today in my bank. She said no worries we will prepare the and hold the paperwork while you shoot out and do the transaction and update bankbook. Returned about an hour later with the updated book, sat down to wait and was called about 10 minutes later. Imm Officer checked all the paperwork. I had printed the required photos on A4 plain paper and he asked if I had better copies. I said no. He said well can you send them to me via the Line app so I did. He printed them and put them with the rest of the paperework. Stamped my passport under consideration and said an Imm Officer will visit Saturday or Sunday and will ring me to let me know. I have to return 16th May for my extension stamp. All in all a very easy experience. I used the attached list, which I copied from this site as a guide and it was spot on. Morning all. Applying for my first extension at Buriram Immigration and need clarification on: 1. What format does the map have to take i.e will a screen shot from Google Maps do or hand drawn? 2. When requesting letter from bank what do I specifically ask for? Thanks in advance.

Bit of advice please. I went to Kasikorn Bank in MBK Bangkok to activate an inactive account. They said they could reactivate it but as I didn't have a copy of my old passport used to open originally open it they couldn't help me but advised that I could go to any other branch to complete. I visited my local bank in Satuk and they told me my 90 day non imm, which is yet to be extended, wasn't accepted to open account. My question is does anybody know a Kasikorn bank in Buriram city who will be able to help me?

I am an Australian travelling with my Thai wife to Bangkok. When booking for ASQ hotel do we have to book separate or we can we share the same booking? The hotel we want to book allows for booking of 2 adults. Would we be able to show the same booking form on our Thailand Pass applications?

Help with question please. I am issued a Non O on 21/01/2022 in Australia I enter Thailand 16/02/2022 Do I apply for extension 60 days after visa issue date or 60 days after entry date?

Thanks heaps Joe It was a typo it was supposed to be 400000bht which I now believe as long as its been in the bank for 2 months it doesn't matter where it came from.

Quick question re this process. Does the 40000bht need to be seen as an international transfer into Thai bank account?
