I didn't realise they had moved

I don't think they have actually moved, my guess would be they have split off the visa and translation services from the language school. Will ask them when I can get to the city.

Knight Visa - close to Tesco Lotus on Chayankul Road. They do translation services.

Thank you kind sir, just did a search and I was directed to Palochai rd, on the prison road but right near the main street.

There are services that do translations here in Ubon.

Much appreciated Joe, found a lady near the airport that does translations, just hope she is approved by the consular services lot.

  4. Need to have front page of passport translated and certified. Read in the past that there is a Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ubon. I found some archived threads about translating and certifying in Ubon with limited info. Sent pm to 2 members who had commented on those threads but neither have replied in the last month.

Anybody point me in the right direction please, I do not want to risk going to BKK to get it done.

Bought a couple of packets of these AU knuckle cuts from Makro, what would be the best way to cook them, could I cook them like steaks or would they be better minced and put in my sausages?

Just give it a bit of a pounding to break up the sinew, put in a plastic container in the fridge overnight. Even better if you can soak it in a bit of wine.

  6. I tried CharlieH link to snake ID from photo but it is a facebook link and I do not do fakebook. It is about 20 cms long and thick as a pencil, fairly plain on top but very bright colours on the bottom. I have been here over 20 years and never seen this type in the Ubon area.

  7. I was very lazy when I made mine. Bought a second hand bath tub, raised it on some bicks in the shade with a bit of incline towards the plug hole. Spread out a section of shade cloth, overlapping all the way around. Lined the bottom with a couple wet hessian bags, a few shovels full of local dirt, some food scraps with blood and bone fertilizer. Kept it moist for week and then added a cup of worms. Added food scraps daily and very soon had worm pee running out of the plug hole into a tray. They multiplied rapidly, within a month I was turning the waste by pulling the shade cloth over to one end. Worms will always be in the top portion, as you turn, all the good stuff will be on top, just take what you need and level out again. Pull the shade cloth over from the other end next time. Add any sort of vegetables and fruits except for citrus and onions, keep the bed moist and you will have a continuous liquid fertilizer.

Or maybe their Premium is not as good as Shell V.

I was always a PTT user as there were no shell outlets around my area. Late last year I was travelling and was near empty, came across a shell and filled up. I was amazed at the difference in power, bit sceptical still. Next time near empty filled at PTT for comparison, noticed the difference fairly soon, now only use shell.

  9. One full set l/h golf clubs, top quality bag and covers for all clubs. Trident graphite shafts, half chord grips, firm shafts. Will include golf umbrella and full bag of practise balls. I am just outside Ubon Ratchatani and not able to walk anymore, gear is just gathering dust so somebody could make use of them. Price is 7000 baht, I could deliver in the Ubon area.
