I've owned 4 cars in Thailand so far - each on just a Tourist visa.

First 2 cars: A 6 month Tourist Visa +Affirmation of Address from Embassy).

I'm not entirely certain which area 2 of the cars were registered - The dealer registered them on my behalf (I'm assuming DLT near Chatuchak).

Another car I registered myself at the DLT near Sukhumvit 101 (Tourist Visa + Affirmation of Address from Embassy).

4th Car is still on red plates but will also be registered in my name. I will be on a tourist visa.

True are daft. They wont install anything in my condo building above the 3rd floor, even though all the cables are in place and the internal cabling can only be worked on by the building technicians anyway.

Plus of course, even if they did need to run new cables all movement inside the condo is done in elevators and there are service channels from the ground to every floor in dedicated rooms on each floor. Anyone would imagine that True expect to be scaling the walls outside, or abseiling down from the roof a la Mission Impossible.

I was thinking that True only has cable offer around pattaya and not adsl.

It seemed to me that the reason why they cannot connect condos is that they need cable socket in rooms ?

I have had glass coating done on my car. It looks good, makes the bodywork easier to clean and maintain, and I believe it will keep it looking good longer.

If it makes you feel happy it's good already !

But I still prefer to repaint the car for 50000 than giving this money for a useless coating...

But what if dealer is trying to make problems and say that it is not possible to register in foreigner name for any reason ?

Is it possible to go to register the car with the proper documents instead of asking the dealer do it ?

They have other options for this pier, destroying a breeding ground for sea life is not needed. As for their building abilities, yes we have all seen how great they are, the bridges that collapsed killing people recently, the buildings that have collapsed killing people, they are all over the place because corruption has become entrenched in everything. Years ago there was not so much but these days it is everywhere, I would not trust them to build a dog kennel let alone a nuclear facility. Have to wonder what your relationship to all this is, a consultant maybe or someone that will make something out of it ........you are pushing awfully hard. I bought a Toyota Camry 2.4 navigator in 2008, it is pearl white metallic. The car lives under open-sided cover most of the time, in a beach front car park. Most vehicles these days are painted by the 'base coat and clear' method, that is to say they are sprayed with a matt finish base coat, then finished with clear lacquer, my Camry has never been waxed, only washed with detergent, the paintwork is still as good as new.

Most car wax is abrasive, and creates micro scratching, It did have to be used on a frequent basis when cars were finished with cellulose,many moons ago, in my opinion, with modern paint finishes, waxing is completely unnecessary.
