And now this:
Windows 11 strikes again with annoying pop-up that can’t be disabled
. . . Windows users are being notified that their systems aren’t backed up with the built-in Windows backup solution. . . . Sure, you can click the notification and dismiss it for a time… but it will show up again soon enough. . . . It’s obvious that Microsoft is pushing users to OneDrive by the fact that this cloud backup notification about supposedly necessary backups can’t be disabled. The only way to make it go away is to use it.
i have no notifications from Microsoft to use Onedrive
I don't like Cloud and I still do my system image backup on a separate hard disk, it's still possible on W11 , same way than with W10 ( Win 7 )

No reason to use Win 11, true , Win 10 was enough for me
the only reason I wanted Win 11 is that in october next year, Microsoft stops to update Win 10 and I was sorry to have to change my "uncompatible " very good PC for a new one
then I read that many people can use Win11 with an " uncompatible " PC, so I thought : " I shall have a try , may it works for me, too " and it works very well , I can use my PC many years more ( may be with Win 12 , why not ?)

i am with Windows from Windows 95 and will never change, no Mac or Linux
a few days ago I changed win 10 to win 11, very easy, not much difference with Win 10
safe, no danger ... I am not a geek, just a happy Windows user

I just saw this post today
yesterday, I installed Win 11 on my not compatible computer ( only because my CPU is Intel I 5 , for the rest it's ok )
I did'nt use Rufus , just download and run " Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Updatefus"
Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update at DuckDuckGo
so far ( only one day 😀), it works very well, no need to buy a new computer next year, my PC is still very good

I don't think The Thai language has a plural form on nouns.
I answered this post, and yes Thai language has no plurial
บาท is always บาท

Of course it's a specimen : mine is not
for plurial form of nouns in Thai language, can you give an exemple in Thai ?
I can read Thai and I have never seen it, for me no plurial in Thai language, they use the word "lai " to express "many"

Surely very good , but surely very expensive for average Thai family
I suppose Thai government doesn't help ( financial help )

... I wonder where my 5000 is. It's not in my bank in Canada or in Thailand. This is beginning to worry me. Maybe it's unwise to use Wise. A few month back I go my money in about 20 minutes. What has happened.
For me you don't have to worry ; I don't know what has happened but Wise will give you back your money : 2 years ago they couldn't send my money ( don't know why but they sent me a message ) and they gave my money back

It's at Sri Mahaphot
my question is : ok, see a pediatrician, and then ...? if it's autism, what to do ? are there specialists of autism in Thailand, are there schools, medecine etc for these people ?
-
Hello,
how is autism treated in Thailand ? are there specialized services ?
I knom a litte Thai boy ( about 3 years old ) who for me has the symptoms of autism
my sister in law told me that in her boy's school, there are people who don' t participate, don't mix with other people, just stay apart ; does is mean that all these children ( "normal " and "abnormal " ) stay in the same place , nobody take them as a problem ?
thanks for your answers

may be we don't have the same situation ( I am retired with an O-A visa, and never paid 100 bahts in 8 years for the 90 days job )
what you say about the foreign workers, I have not seen it , I wonder if it' s the same I.O 🤒 ( Prachin buri, they are now in a new building )
TM 30 yes, 100 hundred bahts but one time, when I came back from Laos, 4 years ago
the woman at the desk was very nice and in front of me she handed two times about 10-20 passports to " delegates " , with a yellow paper for every passport

Prachinburi refuses to accept online or mailed in 90 reports.
They also, not coincidentally, demand a 100 baht "administrative fee" for in person reporting.
Been doing this for a while now.
I did it this morning at Prachinburi, because online doesn't work for the second time in three months
They didn't ask me 100 bahts, and as usual, yes there are many workers but they send one person with 10 or 20 passports and the 90 days is made in one time for these people : maybe they gave money, but I have only seen the woman give back the 10-20 passport to one person without asking money
the woman told me to write online the date of my end of visa extension, but I did it already online and it was rejected
in 3 months, I shall do it online the first week of the due date ( due date on 15 of september, so about ( 2-7 september ) as I have read here, maybe it will work

Hello, my immigration office is Prachinburi
so far, 90 days on line worked perfect ; but 3 monts ago, I was rejected, I tried 3 times ; same thing , so I went to the immigration to do my 90 days, the woman who received me told me " its Bangkok " : ok, it's Bangkok !
two days ago, again , rejected ; this time , they say why it is rejected ;
" Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.
Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom/ Incorrect visa expiration date."
so, I did it again, with my entry and visa expiration date , of course correct
this morning ( strange, they work on Sunday ? ) , same message
so what happens, so far every thing ok, and now rejected every time ?
do you have this problem ? thank you

Is this for the French PM right? It's not the presidential election
If the far right has an absolute majority, Macron will have to choose a prime minister from the far right Presidential elections take place in 3 years

I live in a village, in my wife's familly : 5 houses with mother, brothers and sisters: good place, not noisy, people work, big garden and sala with wonderful landscape and occupation in my every day life, not boring
"civilisation " is not far, amphoe is at 4 kms, everything ( Big C, Makro, Tai watsadu etc ) inside a circle of 30 kms from my house, Internet, nice house, nice people, I speak and read good Thai
I live here for 6 years already and I don't see why I should go live somewhere else : I have found MY place
it's not Issan, but not far and I guess life is not too much different

I saw lots of questions after that but no Thai RD response - all seemed in French so I gave up listening
Out of curiosity can anybody tell me what the answers were to questions 18 and 19?
questions 18 and 19, the answer is "no " for both questions
banks don't do anything
but Thai banks must communicate informations to Thai authorities if there are more than 3000 transactions a year or if transferts are more than 2 millions bahts a year

In my message, I spoke of "pensions"
"pensions are taxed only in the first country "; nothing to do with dividends
-
At this conference there was a representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and he was surprised by what the Thais said : Thais speak of the convention in English which says "may be", but the French convention is very clear; " for pensions, tax will be paid only in the first country (here, France)" : he was very unhappy and all this will undoubtedly be discussed between ministries because the agreement in English is not the agreement signed between France and Thailand
-
3 days ago there was a meeting between French and Thai representatives about this tax, and there was one point that I misunderstood, perhaps we will have to declare what we earned abroad (for me, pension) and we will have to pay tax (first question: we pay tax on what? what we transferred to Thailand? so why declare what we earned abroad? in France, we declare our income in April-May, therefore after March 31; The Thai solution is that we make our declaration, we pay a tax, we send them our tax notice and they reimburse us (only if we ask for it!) all this is completely absurd, why not only declare what we transferred to Thailand? maybe I'm mixing things up, please enlighten me THANKS

thank you for your responses ; problem solved, it was Windows defender which prevent to open the site

Refusing to pay customs

Hello,
I bought a small item ( 29 euros ) with Ebay : usually, goods are sent by post and last time I paid 35 bahts
this time, the item ( 29 euros ) will be sent to me by Fedex 😫
Fedex, I know, two months ago, I paid 9000 bahts for a good of about 500 euros
this time, if customs and Fedex are more than , let's say , 900 bahts, I intend to refuse to pay
what will happen ? I can refuse to pay or I have to ( good is already in Bangkok ) ?
in my country, I have read that the good is sent back to the sender, free of charge
thank you
