British Ambassador in Thailand - Why don't you personally intercede in order to assist British Citizens in Thailand to get vaccines. You are a public servant, employed to represent the British Public in your overseas posting, so listen to what the British citizens abroad are requesting from the British Government's representative in Thailand (you). Please act on the British constituants behalf before these citizens start getting Covid unecessarily due to vaccination appointment delays. I am sure that most citizens would willingly pay for the service, they don't necessarily want handouts from the government, they just want their Embassy's support to accelerate safe vaccination.

Yeah....Instead of taking it the Jaxy!

Only 1 AZ jab when 'foreign' tourists need 2? Wonder how many foreign tourists will realise this before they come and that 1 jab applies- maybe- to the rest of Thailand. And I can't even get 1 jab let alone 2 despite being 75 with prexisting health conditions

Not sure that is correct...I thought the same rules applied to both expats and Thais for domestic tourists?????

Either way I also am still awaiting my first AZ jab which was postponed and I haven't even got a new appointment date.

I am aged 63 and live on Samui so must admit I am not looking forward to tourists arriving anytime soon, which some might under the ""Sealed Route" scheme?

I certainly wont be travelling to Phuket until I have a least had both AZ jabs or a 2nd "Alternative" jab so probably 2022 at the earliest!

I grew up in Bellingham south London, and I remember word going around our street, that there was a Black man

down at the railway station, and we all went to look at him and we were all facinated and talked to him a lot.

in fact my Gran said touch him for good luck  ha ha.

Did they think he was a "Chimney Sweep"?

Yes, wait for the SMS for your vaccination appointment, only a passport that is registered by Samui Immigration is needed, and that has been approved now as you are registered in the system (you should bring your passport as ID when going to be vaccinated, if case the SMS is not enough proof).

All registrations by Central – I also registered there – were cancelled. If you follow the pinned thread in the Samui sub-forum, you'll find the latest inputs about vaccinations, including updates about the confusions since registration and change to the Immigration-app, due to folks from other areas tried to register for early vaccination on Samui...????

    Many thanks KhunPer.

    Great information as always!

Have you registered through the app for the immigrations office, as foreigners are supposed to do now?

-and it actually works. You need to have your passport handy...????

Unfortunately people from the mainland commuted to Samui to register for vaccination, which they were not eligible for, as Samui is vaccination now within a sandbox model, therefore your vaccination was cancelled. You can thank people from the mainland for that...????

    Hi Khun Per,

I registered at Central Festival in person.

I also registered online and got this message on Sunday Afternoon.

    Open photo

So I clicked on the link which to me to the App and asked me to enter my passport number which I did.....then I got this message!

    No description available.

Now I am totally confused...I do not have a  Tax ID, Social Security No., Pink Card, I am not married, I am on Non (O) retirement Visa Extension...I have never been married or worked in Thailand...I am aged 63.....

Have you any idea please what I should do next????
