I always thought the governments should pick up all the bills of companies they have stopped operating by their foolish reactions to a trivial disease. It's not the airlines fault they can't operate.

I agree with your statement, and that's my point.

There are millions of businesses that have gone under due the Government closing borders to the tourists that funded the businesses. No fault of the company, management or staff.

Why should the airlines get Government support, when no other businesses were bailed out?

    Level playing field.

  2. Whilst things are improving and hopefully will continue to improve, almost none of these statistics can be considered good, and all border on a D-grade, rather than an A-grade.

...and we are still looking at a long time before 70% of the population is fully vaccinated at the rate of 10million jabs (5million vaccinated) per month, less the boosters and do-overs.

Last year, Thailand was among the top ranking countries for its management of the pandemic, but has dropped due to the surge of infections since April this year, especially with the widespread and contagious Delta variant.

Incorrect. Thailand dropped due to the complacency, arrogance and incompetency of using the good times to order vaccines and get everyone vaccinated before Delta has a chance to get a foothold.

Prayut and Anutin will go down in history as the most ineffective and incompetent PM and DPM in history. Their days are numbered.
