What does it matter?
Thailand is opening in October...as promised by Prayut.

...and this is why Thailand will never achieve the 70% vaccination target this year.
The amount of boosters and do-overs limits the amount of vaccines for fresh unvaccinated people.
If only they had chosen quality vaccines from Day 1, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Mr CP will be pleased.
Help offset all the losses on the closed 7/11's.

When the government has repeatedly capitalized a Thai airlines which it held a majority stake in despite a decade of losses, why shouldn't it also support local airlines?
Dumb reason.
Let them fail.

I always thought the governments should pick up all the bills of companies they have stopped operating by their foolish reactions to a trivial disease. It's not the airlines fault they can't operate.
I agree with your statement, and that's my point.
There are millions of businesses that have gone under due the Government closing borders to the tourists that funded the businesses. No fault of the company, management or staff.
Why should the airlines get Government support, when no other businesses were bailed out?
Level playing field.

Local airlines in Thailand say that without government support, 2021 will be a write-off for many companies and jeopardize both jobs and the overall market.
Why should local airlines get Government support?
No one else has...

You mean like telling the public the Government will vaccinate 1 million people per day in August?
...that kind of fake news?

How do they define that the lockdown has been "20% effective", when numbers continue to rise?
2 hours ago, snoop1130 said:if the lockdown could be 5% more effective
What does that even mean?

I wonder if he'd be saying this is a valid strategy if the vaccines were being manufactured in Malaysia, and how much he would cry like a little girl when Malaysia stopped Thailand's flow of vaccines.
Selfish much?

I am confused.
If today was a record at 22,782, and if people stay 14-days in hospital on average, how is it possible that 23,649 were released from hospital?
14-days ago, hospital admittance was 17,669.
(15-days ago was 16,533 and 13-days ago was 17,345, just for comparison)
So where were the other 5,000 that were released yesterday come from?

This is excellent news.
Because I would guess there is equal number of people who are "raring" to sell their condos, if not more...

I have not kept up with this, but what is the logic behind doing this?
It certainly doesn't inspire confidence or want me to hold too much money in the Thai banking system.

Whilst things are improving and hopefully will continue to improve, almost none of these statistics can be considered good, and all border on a D-grade, rather than an A-grade.
...and we are still looking at a long time before 70% of the population is fully vaccinated at the rate of 10million jabs (5million vaccinated) per month, less the boosters and do-overs.

I must lead a really boring life.
I don't discuss money laundering, weapons supply, drug deliveries or killing someone like all you paranoid people must do...
...but if my online food ordering account get's hacked, I will be more than annoyed...

You have to smile at the idiocy when the powers that be suggest that they will "block access to IP addresses".
It just highlights how out of touch they are with reality and the impossibility of the threat.

Last year, Thailand was among the top ranking countries for its management of the pandemic, but has dropped due to the surge of infections since April this year, especially with the widespread and contagious Delta variant.
Incorrect. Thailand dropped due to the complacency, arrogance and incompetency of using the good times to order vaccines and get everyone vaccinated before Delta has a chance to get a foothold.
Prayut and Anutin will go down in history as the most ineffective and incompetent PM and DPM in history. Their days are numbered.

This month?
Far too much room for "interpretation".
How about "tomorrow".
Clear and concise with no room for "I thought you meant the 31st".

Cha Cha has been saying this since February, and said that June would be the first 10million month, but missed it...
Then only last week, he said, 1million vaccines per day...and looks like he missed it...
Now, it's back to the original February propaganda. Will he hit it?
