I had to leave Thailand for a week of business.
The Thai Pass is very straight forward, but really not necessary - it was pretty much a check on vaccination status only. So, you are transcribing your vaccine documentation. Little value.
The thing that concerned me most was that Thailand has dropped all testing requirements prior to flying to Thailand. So I was sitting on a plane of people that are vaccinated, but none of them have been tested in the last 3 days. I was actually surprised the airline did not insist on testing, for crew safety.
I was concerned that I may get infected flying and end up in a Hospitel for longer than my trip away, but I tested negative.
Given all the rigmarole around flying both directions, and the risks of ending up in quarantine, I would not fly again until everything was back to normal.

Anutin's HEMP is worthless <deleted> at 0.2% THC.
Thats why I don't understand the hype and anyone getting excited.
Is there a difference in CBD oil content in .2% and 30% THC plants?
In other words, is .2% plants useful for anything more than making hemp bags and macrame wool?

I know nothing about cannabis.
Beyond testing, how would you visibly know the difference between a .2% THC hemp plant and a normal 30% THC plant?
Just thinking out loud.

Brilliant.
Stop testing before they arrive telling people you are making things easier, will no doubt increase the positive cases on arrival.
Which will increase hospitel stays.- 2

Has anyone read if they are renting existing Cloud services like Amazon or Microsoft, or are they actually trying to rent a "cloud"?
They do not have a clue what they are doing.
Fail.

Rampant in the villages in North East.
I'd say 70% of the villagers use YaBa, or the cheaper and even more addictive ICE.
Police sell it.
They have annual crackdowns where 5,000 baht will get you off scott free.
That's some quotes right there...any evidence, links or proof?

From the Nimble 'recruitment' page:
WHY WORK WITH US
A SELECTION OF WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:Private Medical Insurance & Social Welfare
Good sleuthing...and I hope in parallel he uses some of that Go Fund Me booty to pay for a lawyer to sue his company for failing to provide what they promised...
...and Nimble's reputation just took a hit...

Set up Thai company 40,000 baht
Pay your lawyer to manage your WP 20,000 baht
Hire 4 Thais to clean your house, wash your car and do your garden 48,000 per month
Pay your lawyer to do 90 day reporting 5000 baht per quarter
Get accountant friend of lawyer to do yearly company audits and pay property tax
Buy property in company name
Repeat annually.
It's not that hard.
BTW, I just guessed these costs because my staff and lawyer handles everything. I have no idea. I just show up once a year to show my pretty face at Immigration for about 30 minutes.

The bias and discrimination shown towards average Russian people here is disgusting. They aren't responsible for Putins decision.
Maybe not...but Putin's is responsible for their position.
Let him figure out how to fund them and get them home, and not burden the Thai people housing and feeding them. It sure wasn't a Thai decision.

I also closed 5 accounts and drained the accounts a few days ago.
Wise is a good online banking app, but PayPal was useful for buying stuff on Ebay and paying recurring online bills. It was simple to use. For what I used it for, it worked well.
PayPal foreign currency rates were terrible, fees were expensive and they could be slow to transfer...and yes, I got locked up more than once. I had a dedicated PayPal manager who was helpful to degree, but they are behind the times and better services will emerge...

...actually, it probably would.
But I can hope that some other important countries see Thailand for what they are, a Russian procrastinator to suit their financial agenda, and decide that banning travel to Thailand can help them change their mind.
Pick a side Thailand, based on morals, ethics and principles...rather than just rubles.

Economy driven by 1 night "Test and Go" tourist arrivals.
January will be low and February will be somewhere in between.
Not even close to a "recovery".
The risk for COVID infection is now for arriving tourists...not for people living here.
Open it up.

People who have 32million to waste on a dumb work permit...don't need a dumb work permit.
...when you can set up a Thai company, hire 4 of your domestic staff, get a WP and have your lawyer do your 90-day reporting and only turn up at immigration once a year to show your face. to get that WP...
If you really want, buy a Thai Elite visa for whatever it costs now and be done with it for 5 years.
Fail.

Outside of this forum I doubt many at all care about K.Boss being caught.

As far as F1, I could care less.

Theoretically that has zero to do with this thread.
There are more people interested in the little ferret getting caught, than a F1 in Bangkok...although both are likely never to happen.

There is dumb, really dumb and then Thai dumb.
This "Test and Go, and then come back and do Test and Go again" will not last long.
The knucklehead that came up with this idea, and the groupthink sycophants will redact this in a few weeks back to "Test and Go" with a Hospital test at Day 5.
They had 1 job.

I know 2 people that just missed out on Test n Go, and changed plans to do the Phuket Sandbox in early February.
They booked their flights, paid for hotels and PCR tests, and applied for the Thai Pass and was granted...
...and today, they may go back to Test n Go.
I wonder if those 7-day hotel bookings and flights will be able to be cancelled.
Poor sods.

Is the Thai government prepared for a major oil spill?
in Thailand News

Dumb question.
Thailand has proven time and time again that it is not ready for any disaster. Why would an oil spill be any different.
