Above is security guard
Below is the knife, and I guess the frenchman

In the source that cannot be mentioned they interviewed him already, says self defense as he was being badly beaten by security guards for filming another altracation outside the club.

Some media reports state he ran into a trailer being towed by another vehicle, while this one says he hit a pole.
Does anyone know the actual facts of the accident as it seems another party may be partially to blame?

Just give a decent accounting or legal firm power of attorney and they can do everything for you including extensions and work permit. I pay 500 per 90 Day report + 12,000 for Non-B extensions and work permit renewal. I have not stepped foot in an immigration office in 7 years. Why put yourself through the hassle?

Currently the system only works with Internet Explorer
LOLZ Thailand, although I think the USA IRS has some similar requirements for some filings.

this guy is in Rawai and sells Kefir Milk. http://www.healthyfoodthai.com/index.php?products/type/2
Might be good start. He has a physical shop too https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Greek-Kafe/158570300954101
and his yogurts and milks are sold at that grocery store across the road from Nikita's 20 meters up the small soi.

It baffles me, why do so many people come to Thailand to commit suicide, stay home and do it
I don't know lets see the choices if you're gonna do it.
A, Go some place with cheap beer, fantastic weather, beautiful willing women and enjoy your last pocketful of cash like a rockstar or
B. Hang yourself in Canada or some other hole.
PS. I vaguely knew the guy and he worked in Canada I believe in forestry to save up for a yearly visit to Phuket. Someone who knew him much better than me or any poster i've seen so far said he was ringing to bell at the bars the night he hung himself, something he would NEVER do before, perhaps a final hoorah.

A very pertinent and serious question. Anyone know the answer?Illegal for whom? The host or the guest? You think the land department can pass laws at a whim? Its another BS story invented.
They already have laws that say a taxi has to be registered.
They are registered you dolt.
Not all Uber "taxis" are registered taxis.
Did you actually read the OP?
1. please quote properly before you reply.
2. Its a bullshit story from somchai foot in mouth. Thai visa loves to stir the shit
.
3. Uber is still alive and well

what business is it of the government who I decide to ride in a car with?
Seriously f'd up taxi service is the reason Uber exists. Even some parts of the city no taxi will use a meter. Then when you try to get his taxi ID to make a complaint the driver will threaten you with violence.
The Land dept obviously are part of the taxi mafia monopoly scam.
As in most countries, the law says that to be a taxi you have to be registered as a taxi.
This model will go boom the first time someone has an accident and it turns out that the passenger isn't covered because the car is acting as a business vehicle.
You fail at every level, Uber insures its drivers. Think before you open your pie hole

There is no UberX in Phuket for now, just Uber Black. If you don't know the difference, Uber Black is a licensed taxi, that has a nicer car, Camry, Fortuner etc. I have used many times, and its actually on par or cheaper. The drivers are polite, provide bottled water for free in all instances. After each ride you can rate your driver, 1 to 5 stars.
You should not forget, that the Thai Drivers involved with Uber, are willing to work harder more times per day to achieve a higher income based on volume.
Uber has standards for its drivers.

good thing is is Uber is valued at $40B USD and is known to "lobby" governments into submission.

Look on the Phuket Items for sale Facebook pages.... you'll find them on there for sale along with other restaurant equipment,
All you have to do is wonder why their vital equipment is for sale.
First off, I took a look at that FB page ONCE. Load of way overpriced cr4p.
Secondly, their 'vital' equipment is 'for sale' owing to the amount of farang who trip up here thinking they can run an overpriced food outlet (hesitate to call them restaurants) with not a bloody clue and collapse shortly after.
To the OP, forget that lousy FB page and just keep an ear/eye out for just how bad these 'pizza' places are doing. Then, nip in and make them an offer. Then you too can lose your shirt
Someone seems angry. Wonder Why Let us know

Ok good point, let me rephrase... Scum ball service and attitude....
Anyway, same "scumball and attitude" - just at an Uber price.
No it's not. Uber works on customer feedback about each driver. They receive enough negative feedback = They don't work with Uber any longer,
Uber is only using Phuket "limo" drivers - for obvious reasons, well discussed on this forum, many times, and at length. Mostly related to violence against anyone who dare offer an alternative service.
Uber is now recruiting UberX drivers un Phuket. Since you seem to be to inept to do any research https://partners.uber.com/signup/phuket/

bkk bank debit card works with paypal just fine. You need to register the debit card with verified by visa (which will link your name and address to the card) here https://ipay.bangkokbank.com/bblenroll/bkkCard.aspx The debit card will also work just like a credit overseas etc. with no problem.

i didn't know people still bought tickets offline
Then you are missing out. I book several long haul tickets a year and 100% of the time you will save a few thousand baht going through a thai agency, especially on business class tickets.
