  1. Retirement visa or marriage visa extension at very old age

    I am 90 and although not frail on my last visit to CM immigration office I was allowed to sit in the car in a handicapped parking bay adjacent to the entrance My wife took my paperwork in and the immigration officer came out and took my photo whilst sitting in the car. Staff were very helpful and waiting time was about 30 minutes.

    If you have funds available then take out a joint deposit account for 1.6 million. Immigration will happily accept it.

    Am I being naive but I have always thought that paying an agent to provide the required 800,000 was illegal because it involves some collusion with an immigration officer. For years it seems to me it was referred to on a wink wink nudge nudge basis but now it is openly talked about as a legal option. Can someone please set me straight.
