  1. The current 'senators' should be out of office when their tenure expires next May. However, it remains to be seen if that actually happens...
  2. Given the lying and treachery which have followed the election MFP are best off staying right out of it, and leading the opposition. They will likely win big at the next election.
  3. Oh dear. That's not what the fuss us about. If you don't contribute a slice of the action to the authorities you get closed down.
  4. Strange article. MFP should steer well clear of this shameful farce. Their public support will increase if they do not become involved, and their time will come at the next election.
  5. All going as planned as some of us have been forecasting ever since the election resuit was announced. Very sad, but things will change, one day..
  6. Some people are saying he's virtually got the job already, incredible as it may seem.
  7. The best thing the MFP/Pita can do is to go into opposition mode, and wait. Their time will come, hopefully at the next election. By then it seems likely their popular support will be overwhelming, given the treachery and lies of PT, the 'senate', and the 'uncles' now being witnessed.
  8. Why not move them now ? Never too late.
  9. You appear to be unaware that Pheu Thai's treachery and lying will result in a government led by Prawit, with Prayut and Anutin still involved. Just what the vast majority of Thais voted against.
  10. Best to MFP to have nothing to do with current smoke and mirrors, go into opposition, and wait. Their day will come, at the latest at the time of the next general election.
  11. Cannot allow any scandal to be revealed about Thailand's next PM.....
  12. All going to post-election plan ie Prawit PM, Anutin Deputy PM, Prayut Senior Adviser......
  13. Thailand was great for western retirees/visitors in the '60s, 70's and '80s. Cheap flights in the '90s resulted in the arrival of large numbers of farangs who dressed badly, spoke badly and behaved badly. Observing this Thais at all levels became less friendly. This has, however, improved recently. Hopefully the improvement will continue, and will bring things nearer to how they were all those years ago.
  14. No basis for this whatsoever, merely scaremongering.
  15. I sense, as I have from the moment the election results were announced, a government led by Prawit with Anutin in a prominent role, will be in place in due course. All going according to plan...
  16. Being in opposition is not a bad place to be for the MFP given the disgusting display of greed and treachery now going on following their withdrawal. Time is on their side. Meantime, oppose vigourously, and stay true to your cause.
  17. All credit to the MFP for not compromising. They will have to go into opposition mode, but time is on their side. The coup-appointed 'senators' will have gone before the next election at which time the MFP has a real chance of an overall majority.
  18. The objections by the coup- appointed 'senators' to any change in the lese majeste law are entirely false and hypocritical. They make a lot of money with the way things are, that is why they want no change.
  19. A shameful situation, and an insult to the millions of Thais who voted for the MFP.
  20. These arrests appear to have been well done by the RTP to give credit when its' due.
  21. The military and business elite don't care about passing new legislation. They want things to stay just as they are.
  22. Farcical and shameful. I wonder if Pita should take the MFP into opposition for now, and focus on the next election when, hopefully, the current bunch of so-called senators will be long gone.
  23. This is an uttter disgrace but entirely predictable from an outfit as corrupt as the EC.
