  1. No doubts about this subject.

BELGIUM BEER. Not that i am from belgium but there every abbey brews its own beer. Delicious. fermenting on the bottle And they have hundreds of abbys who do this.

If you are just talking about pilsener, Germany is number one in my opinion. But again Belgium is the country with the biggest divercety of beer. Just look on google pictures for belgium beer and you know it.

    My saliva is running already.

  2. The father of the perpetrator attended the victims funeral!!!!!!....... Only in Thailand.

It is the appropriate thing to do as it shows remorse, regret and shame. It also provides an opportunity for the victim family to heal and to achieve closure. In Thai culture, expressing one's remorse for a wrongful act and asking for forgiveness is an important part of the culture. Even I know that.

Despite our criticisms of Thai "civility", this is remarkably civil and is very similar to the Jewish custom, and shared with post Reformation Christian interpretations, that one must apologize to the victim and to ask for forgiveness. In the west, as Christianity became dominated by the Roman Catholic practices of purchasing dispensations or of "confession", the original Christian practice of taking responsibility was abandoned. The Reformation brought back the concept of personal responsibility for some western cultures.

So well said, much better than I could have said...!!

But is still is a monster that should never be on the street again.

  3. I will definitely avoid the centre of Chiang Mai.

Can you imagine the buckets of icewater thrown at you when you drive a motorbike. All the crazy tourists empty their big waterguns in a taxi van. No. Not for me anymore. I preferr the countryside where they celebrate it in the old fashion way. It hasbecome a respectless way of cellebrating with no respect for old traditions. It even surprised me that most of the tourist dont know anything about the tradition and just get out of their mind.

  4. If it was clear the guy had a gun and was a threat or if he tried to run down any police at the checkpoint then shoot him otherwise this is no more serious than running a red light, unfortunately the training of Thai police seems to be lacking basic guides in the use of lethal force and firearms

Instead of locking this guy up how about proper training

    both

  5. They wanna educate Chinese in Thailand. What a waste of time and energie. They are teacheing Chinese in their own country but the most dont care about anything.

I have been in many places in this world. One of the first things i always did is learning about habits and traditions. If you dont care for that, take the consekwenses. Dont run after tourist but let them pay for stupidity and impoliteness. Best lessons are learned when its comming out of the pocket.

  6. These crazy car prices ans many other prices are possible because Thai create the illusion that they are from a other planet.

It makes them feel special and proud.

They forget that because if this way of thinking, most stay poor, get bakrupt a few times in their lives and do many things to get something togehter.

As a result of this you have cartels who rob you with whatever they can. Next to that they have a corrupted gourvenemtal system.

Cars are a good example for this.

  7. As the water quality is differend thrue whole of Thailand, has anybody good information and maybe links about good safe water purifiers.

For me it is a confusing matter. Everybody who sales something is telling it is good, it is the best and it is cheap.

I have my doubts about that.

    So if anybody knows?

    Thanks in advance.

  8. I was in the Bangkok hospital, Pattaya last week. Pain on my chest was the reathen i went there.

Within one hour they told me i was in a high risk and had to stay there.

They put me on a heart monitor and would do a heart catharesarion to see what the problem was.

The catharesation took place 30 hours after i get in (high risk) but happely they found nothing serieus.

The cardiologist told me i had to lay flat in the bad for 6 hours. If the tiny little wound would be closed well, i could leace the hospital. After the 6 hours nothing happend anymore. 12 hours later i asked when the doctor would see mee so i could leave.

The doctor was very busy and they did not know when he had time to see me.

16 hours later they still did not know when the doctor had time so i told them that if he would not be there within 1 hour, i would take of the monitor stickers myself and will remove the infusion myself. After one hour a other doctor came to see me and told me i could leave the hospital. He even did not look at the catharisation wound. A nurse removend the infusion needle and the rest i did myself.

For me this was a real rip off. Never been in to a hospital to quickly and never had so much teouble to get out again. For my feeling they made their money with the catharisation and did not take care for the rest.

First and last time i went to this hospital.

  9. This is the result of young people gaming. Games are getting their reality.

Parents allow children to play agressive games whole day. It keeps them quiet so the children are " so easy".

Parents and gouvernements all over the world seem to not realise what this violent fake reality dus to children. They copy this violent reality fake world in to the real world. Now this poor woman is the victem, but howe many others have been victim of this crazy phenomenon.
