They won't euthanize a dog here, so what do people do when a dog kills or maims someone?

I was replying to another poster, who said dogs out of control should be chained up, I assume he meant in Thailand, unfortunately Thai authorities will not euthanise a dog that kills or attacks someone, so not much option really. If one of my family was attacked, this would be the only option, unfortunately.

And fed adequate poison, gotta be cruel to be kind.
