    Live in Chiang Mai, had yellow book for around 20yrs, sold a motorbike to a Thai person earlier this year, both went to Transport office, could not complete the transfer till I obtained pink card. Went to Ampur, copy passport, visa, Yellow book, and a Thai witness, 70bt, that was it. Seems Chiang Mai LTR office are a law unto themselves.
