  1. Obviously issues with Thai ladies, how much did she take you for?

Wow! This thread really has hit a raw nerve.

I've not been taken for a cent. I'm friends with my ex and together we pay for our son's education at a good school in BKK.

I've been with my current GF for a little over four years and am reasonably happy. I've mentioned before that she's a former model with two degrees as I think people have a right to know that you can meet decent girls on dating sites. I've mentioned her foreign surname as I think this is extremely interesting.

Admittedly I've not said before that her cousin is one of Thailand's leading experts on tropical diseases as this would probably invite envy rather genuine curiosity.

Do you see how I've answered your question without resorting to petty insults?

    Carry on!

I've mentioned before that she's a former model with two degrees

    Of course she is. cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

The problem is that you talk so much trash that even if this were true no one would take you seriously.

    What a buffoon. facepalm.gif

  2. The elephant then fled the scene it is unclear whether or not the elephant has been captured.

Did they get a description of the elephant?

Apparently it had tusks and was covered in blood.

It was apprehended trying to get the first available ferry off the island.

A man has been killed. A young girl seriously injured. I find no humour in the pain and misery of others, and only disdain for those that do.

I agree, there seems to be many posters on this thread (some of them long term and respected posters) who find it appropriate to make fun of this situation.

    Shame on you all.

  3. I think that I read something about boiler rooms on this forum, it's something about scamming.

If I remember correctly the guy talking about the boiler rooms was accusing someone else of working in these boiler rooms but he knew more about the boiler rooms that the guy that he was accusing.

Apparently it turned out that the guy doing the accusing was the real boiler room worker and was throwing out accusations to cover his tracks.

  4. I agree with leaving it.

There are 2 types of Python in Thailand, the more common Reticulating Python (Python Reticulus) and the Burmese Python (Python Molarus Bivitatus).

The Burmese Python is on the CITES 2 list, so if you did catch it and you were found out, you would be looking at a very heavy fine, possibly jail time and most likely deportation (if you are not Thai).

  5. It may haveIt may have nothing to do with Thai males, however it also has little to do with aggression stemming from getting pissed, nothing to do with Thai males, however it also has little to do with aggression stemming from getting pissed,

What utter tosh, it has everything to do with aggression stemming from getting pissed, did you not read the story?

Why defend the demon drink when it is clearly the cause of this man's actions?

Are the facts about the damage that alcohol causes too close to home for you or are you actually drinking as you write this crap?

  6. As an American, I learned long ago the difference between fireworks, a car back firing and Mr. Nine Millimeter.

You mean Mr .38 as American.

yes, in the states we have what we jokingly call your "Hollywood Gun", typically a Glock. 9 mm or a Glock 40 cal S&W.

you know, the gun you buy because you saw it in a movie. SIG SAUER is another one. both excellent and expensive guns.

my TV forum aviator Jack Bauer carries that one. smile.png

mister .38 is more serious. not so much "how do i look?" smile.png

back in the 70's and 80's it was the 44 magnum. "Go ahead, make my day."

    Mmm

99.999% of us lowly Brits have never actually touched a hand gun- we would have no idea whatsoever about makes and calibers.

Is that a good thing ? perhaps .

Anyway back to the OP- I have a suspicion that ( even though there are powerful Mafia families involved) at some stage the PM will close down the total banality of full moon parties.

Of course I may be wrong- all those gap years can cover themselves in toxic flourescent paint, destroy their livers with very cheap alcohol and of course endanger their lives with truly harmless mushroom shakes

So bearing in mind that some Brits do own handguns and also shoot for sport, you are stating that less than .001% of Brits serve in the armed forces.

That's quite a statement to make, care to share the source of your figures?
