Ah...some real good looking girls working in 7/11. Where I live up country there is an all night eatery ( pretty basic ) where the 7/11 and Big C girls stop on the way home for a snack and a beer. 60 baht a big bottle or share some Hong Tong with them. Nice chill place we occasionally go.

555, living the dream are we???

I must confess to being shocked at this. Why wouldn't the west....indeed why wouldn't anyone at all.... wish to know who is sponsoring the information that foreign agents are putting out? One of the first things I do when I see some group like "The Atlantic Council", or "The Anus Think Tank" is to check out who is funding them to see if they are likely to be just another propaganda group (which they always are) or whether they might be an independent group with someone valid to say (almost never, as the groups that get their crap in the press are well funded and have plenty of media contacts).

The only answer I can come up with is that the West are funding these subversive groups that have wrecked the peace of the world with their colour revolutions and the like.

More specifically than the west it's the Yanks up to their usual.

He's probably friends with our beloved leader Taksin and his sister

Opposite. His father, the Godfather of Chonburi, AKA Kamnan Poh, was  arrested while a fugitive from a murder conviction sentence by the Yingluck gov. It was the ruling Junta that did not charge the boy mayor and instead made him a gov Minister.

More fear mongering from the UK’s failing PM.

Stop hiding Rishi, call the election.

Not a Brit but in my Canada we also have a Westminster style Parliament. In my time we have only had parliaments that ran passed  significantly more than four years a couple times. Both times seemed as desperation on the governing parties part. In 1993 the majority governing Progressive Conservative party used nearly it's full 5 your mandate and got obviated. Reduced to only 2 seats. It never did recover. Ended up going out of existence and merging with another party a few years later. What is going on in the UK now also seems like desperation by the governing Conservative Party.

  5. So this has me wondering whether this site is promoting the same far right ideological nonsense as this Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal opinion piece??? Has it been taken over by Jomtien's own Foghorn Leghorn? Short answer to the OP's question is anti-apartheid/genocide heros of mine.

Oh I can't wait to hear all of his excuses for letting this happen, transporting cash by other reports, saying it was on 'humanitarian grounds' is an Oxymoron in itself  what a circus this place has become with a Clown as ringmaster, but who is the real ringmaster in Thailand .

It was the late PremTinsulanonda, former Thailand head of Armed Forces, PM and President of the Privy Council  who adopted the past and present Burmese junta leader Min Aung Hlaing. The militaries of these two countries considered themselves brothers.

All 7 of them, is American democracy at stake here??? :whistling:

You call that democracy? If it takes $2b to get elected  president of that country it is far from being a true democracy. The Economy Group classifies it as being a flawed democracy same as Thailand. I would more accurately call it a corrupt flawed democracy. So the Democrats against democracy are up in arms. Boo-hoo is all I have to say after the way the DNC stole that nomination from Bernie twice

Maybe there is nobody who cares what I think. Maybe also nobody cares what you think.

But this is an open forum and we both can publish what we think.

And just in case you don't know it, the internet works all over the world. So even if I would go home I could still write something in this forum - only to annoy you. 😉

Well I'm sure I am not alone in enjoying how rotten things have been going for you in the last spell. Also knowing how much it's going to get even worse with the return and vindication of Ms Yingluck.

I read of a court case recently here in Canada (although it might have been USA) where the judge was confused and in order to make a ruling stated that he was mixed up on the he/she thing and determined the only sure way forward was to answer the question, "was she/he born with a vagina?". Understandably, gender modification can be confusing. No doubt Thailand will experience some "growing" pains should this legislation move forward.  (No, I don't have a link).

I don't think Canada has judges that dumb so must be the other place.

Basically, he gives us the finger.

I do what I want to do. And there is nothing you can do about it.

He is a sad man that he still needs to do this to feed his ego.

You write like you are a Thai national. I'm pretty sure there is not a real Thai who could care less what you think. Seems you have lost the plot. Maybe it's time to head home
