Definitely an exception.  There is a legal agreement in place regarding Guantanamo, one which the current Cuban government wants to void.  Considering that government's hosting of intelligence collection stations for the USSR, China and Russia, and its willingness to allow USSR ballistic missiles to be stationed there during the cold war, the US wants to maintain the agreement.

"Agreement Between the United States and Cuba for the Lease of Lands for Coaling and Naval stations; February 23, 1903"

    "ARTICLE I

The Republic of Cuba hereby leases to the United States, for the time required for the purposes of coaling and naval stations, the following described areas of land and water situated in the Island of Cuba..."https://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/dip_cuba002.asp

Spain also wants Gibraltar back, but since it was ceded to England in 1713 after it was captured in the war of Spanish succession, the UK is reluctant to return it.

I really do not think a prison camp falls under the original purposes. Much like the 2nd Amendment original intent

800 military bases that will be closed if the host nation asks the US to remove them.  That rarely happens because the host nations generally perceive them as as net positives.

Show evidence that the US is stealing Syrian oil, or that the starvation is caused by anyone other than the Syrian government.

Please explain how the US has specialized in color revolutions.  Also please explain how the US meddled in the last election, or in Thailand in the 21st century.

Cuba says give Gitmo back then

We seem to live in the era of clickbait headlines, scream some silly, cherry picked facts to attract eyeballs.

According to statcan, New Brunswick population in 2023 is estimated to be 787,014 people

What is happening in tiny New Brunswick affects the population of Canada not at all and certainly is not causing "political turmoil in Canada"

Yeah, backwoods N.B. is a throw back which is pretty much owned by a couple families. Including all the media outlets. This won't help the conservative brand in the cities across Canada. Will help in some rural areas like in the State of Alberta

There are rumblings that a deal will be struck for Thaksin to receive an absolute pardon by his old friend  in exchange for MFP getting to decide the next speaker. Your nightmare may soon happen.

Why do I get the feeling that Putin orchestrated all of this and now there can be a massive escalation of the war in Ukraine?

I tend to agree with you.  This analyst states that it was a suicide mission to head to Moscow. I always thought that Putin was himself the major silent partner  owner of the Wagner Group. Most likely some sort of a business disagreement.

Sorry but it won't happen. In order to amend the Constitution, it is required to have the agreement of at least one third of the Senate and at least 20% of MPs from each political party.

    https://prachataienglish.com/node/9086

So the next Senate will be selected by committees and panels (in which representatives of agencies will hold the majority of votes). Who will select these committees? The EC, which has been selected by the NCPO.

    So a constitutional amendment then?
