  1. Well, I don't know what is right but I am married to a Thai and my wife said, its family and she would not say anything. She said 98% of Thai people would not say anything. You are living in Thailand so I think you might have to just eat this one. Your wife will not be able to live with that.

  2. I was on a flight to Hong Kong and encountered turbulence. The pilot told people to put the seatbelt on and there was some rocking. Some people did not buckle up. Then all of a sudden the plane dropped a few thousand feet and anybody not belted hit the ceiling of the plane and then were violently thrown on the floor. Very scary and several injuries on that flight. I do as others do and keep the belt on!

  3. Some of you guys must not have literally anything else to do but cry cover-up, conspiracy, corruption and whatever other descriptors there have been on this matter. Finally, at least the family has the guts to say what you other idiots just don't understand. That the information put out in this matter was dis-jointed and hearsay and made-up or just WRONG!

    The family said,

On Friday the family of Miller criticised "increasing sensationalism of this story" and said that "speculation" should be suspended until all evidence is made public.

"The support for the Myanmar suspects has been strong and vocal, but please do not jump to conclusions until you have considered the evidence from both sides in full," Miller's family said.

Why don't you armchair sleuths just wait for the real information concerning these two murderers come out. If there is not a strong case then the court will absolve them. Otherwise, they should be hung or shot or left to rot in prison...."up to them"!!

  4. So where is the vaunted Scotland Yard comments??? Did they agree with the collection of evidence or not?? Why are you nay-sayers not up in arms over no comment from them? They collected the information according to the laws in Thailand......its not England, Australia, or America. The DNA will tell all. You conspiracy advocates need get a life and stop thinking everything is a government or police cover-up! STOP!!

  5. Exactly as another post said, if you are American then you don't need the 800K in the Bank if it is a Retirement Visa.

Just go to the Embassy or if in Pattaya or other locations find out when the American Embassy will be visiting a place near you and get the Affidavit signed there indicating that you have at least $2500 monthly income. Just an Affidavit.....no proof needed....just swear to it. Sign it and take it to Immigration office and get your Retirement Visa. That simple.

  6. From your picture, one can clearly see the offending post is on the opposite side of the road. Even using just my eyes it's clear the height of the pole does not exceed the width of the road and therefore your wall is not at risk. The post also appears to be leaning left and forward, so if it does fall, it will miss your wall.

Agreed it is dangerous but I don't think you need to worry about it causing damage to the wall.

Are you a drama queen perchance. tongue.png

A road is 5 meters, I think a high voltage power pole is way over 5 meters high. How do you know it will miss my wall, since the wall is not in the picture.

I'm not really a drama queen, but this situation looks pretty scary, and I have such an idea that if it causes me a lot of damage, that I can pull my nose and pay for everything myself.

What you think would happen when the 20.000V? lines hit anything that is connected to my house power grid?

Exactly why didn't you take the photos to show the wall and the maid's quarters, etc? That way we would have a better idea of what you are saying.

My first stop would be at the RTP and then directly to PEA and take a lot of pictures with you and leave them with PEA. Then go to the local puyaiban.

    Good luck!

  7. Another great place with the friendliest people is Lewinskis Sports Bar and Restaurant on Soi 13/3 near Beach Rd and close to Walking Street. They have vans that will take you from the Bar to the golf courses and back. They also play 6 days a week in High Season which not many others do. You can pick the days you play and where as they change each day. Look it up on Google. They also have an air conditioning in the Bar and very good food.

Reach out for Colin Davis a very nice guy and the arranger of golf trips.

  8. They had the DNA samples tested BEFORE they had any real suspects. They were looking for ASIAN suspects on the island. They found two that matched according to what I read. They either have the match or they don't.

As far as the tortured confession, that should be a separate investigation and if wrong-doing then fire and prosecute the guilty. And throw the confession out if that is found.

Then forget all this peripheral BS. Lets get it into court. The DNA match is there or it isn't, that's it!

  9. These cops coming over are "not investigating" they are "observing". Why don't you people get that! No new investigation......review what they did that is it. The court will decide if the RTP did it right or not. If they collected the DNA from the rake and the victims correctly and sent it for analysis and then later found subjects matching that DNA it is all over. Forget the alleged torture....they should have had their b@lls kicked in anyway.

  10. Yes, that is what they do. Its their Facebook let them post what they want. I spoke to my wife about that and they all post food and gifts. We don't do that but what is the harm? Why do you people always find fault with what the Thai women do? Shut up and be happy you have a women who is proud to show off what her hubby buys her. And they like their food....leave them alone!!

  11. You Brits are crazy!! No country or National Police Force would allow another country to come in and do an independent investigation. What world do you live in that you have seen that happen?? Why do you think that you can question the country's investigation, say they are wrong and its a frame-up and then think that because you signed a petition that the PM is going to roll over on his Thai investigators? Please.

The best that can happen is that the court and prosecutors review the evidence and the correct result is established as to guilt. I am tired of hearing about the Great Conspiracy! The biggest fault I have is that they put too much info out before vetting it and it created confusion amongst the idiot population.

  12. No one mentioned anything about the Junta because most of us don't believe this is wrong. They asked questions and she provided answers. Did they conduct a strip search? Did they somehow embarrass her or demean her? I did not hear any of that. Why didn't she get a TV from KL? She did it to circumvent the process and we all know they are taking a new look at people who do this type of maneuver. I for one like what the Junta is doing and hope they do a lot more. When you enter another Country....answer the questions and provide the documents...that's it!
