  1. So he was linked to the CCP! I have no doubt that MAGA folks, who are outraged about someone working with even only a private Chinese company, will be scandalized! ????
  2. There's no reason why Thaksin could not have been outboard, it just needed people would have stopped voting for him or his party. About the junta linked corruption, unlike Thaksin, it has not really been investigated. Thaksin was not more corrupt than most other Thai politicians or businessmen. About the absence of wide investigation about the war on drugs, have you forgotten that Thaksin has been "asked" to do it.
  3. It's a false equivalence. Thaksin had autocratic tendencies but (he and his party) always came to power by elections. And unlike the military clowns could have been outvoted. As to corruption, the military was exonerated of any responsibility and de-facto has not been investigated. Forgot about Prayut's nephew, the army park (cannot spell the name), military procurement, Prawit's watches, R&R scandal, and other buried cases, really? About he war on drugs. You don't know why the army-backed governments never dared to pursue an investigation and quickly buried the case, despite the fact that it looked like the ideal case to nail Thaksin. Really?
  4. Ok, but Thaksin never made a coup.
  5. The military mafia is the armed component of a network of oligarchs....
  6. Well, a real news would be Trump saying something which is not absurd!
  7. I think that it's more symbolic than really useful. They want to show they are able to replucate what the U.S. Is doing in Taiwan. However, the last thing Cuba may want is a conflict with the U.S. Cuba is also playing its own game.
  8. Ok. I recognise I am not a specialist. So what would be the significant advantages drawn from being in Cuba, in terms of intelligence activities?
  9. The table is not particularly questionable (the gini coefficient is the most used method). Anyway, what's your point? That inequalities are usually higher in large cities, and that large cities tend to vote for Dems?
  10. Ahem.... https://citymonitor.ai/neighbourhoods/us-income-inequality-cities-revealed
  11. So it would worsen Trump's bad reputation? Trump already torpedoed his reputation by himself some time ago....
  12. And what would China do? Invade the U.S.? Western companies have been investing in China for years (incl. Trump). Why shouldn't the Chinese invest in Western countries? And the wide open borders is right-wing propaganda B.S.
  13. Nowadays, satellites and the Internet are probably the most efficient ways to spy on a foreign country. Is a presence in Cuba really useful to China, or is it rather a symbolic move?
  14. Not a wise Republican, but a dumb MAGA fan, and there are many of them. Ex. Who would have thought someone would be dumb enough to wait outside Obama's house to get him?
  15. We are talking about this, right? "Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden,” So, according to you, when Trump (or anyone else) makes such a B.S. claim, the Presidency should reply rather than ignore the creep? Really?
  16. Why should they take seriously Trump's B.S. claim?
  17. Who put targets on Trump? Obama? Biden? Clinton? How?
