I am the renter, never had to do this before! If the rental contract is in your name you don't need a power of attorney from the landlord.
A rental contract in your name makes you the possessor and you can report yourself for which you obivously don't need a power of attorney.
I would have told them to either accept it as is or insisted on a written statement from them which says that you are not considered the possessor and thus can't report yourself. In case they would ever try to fine you in the future you could present them this statement and tell them to go fine the landlord, because they stated that it's not your responsibility [emoji6]

No problem in the past, lived at the same address for 5 yrs now turned away because need power of attorney form to be completed by house owner, they have rental agreement, ID card house book already, for gods sake what is wrong with this country!°
What if the house owner is away how can you register address within the 24 hrs???
Do I also need the money stamps?

Pirelli's are excellent, the stock rear tire on my NMax had many splits within the tread so got rid, not sure why that was happening as tire pressures were always spot on .

That is true, don't get that where I live just loud exhausts oh and barking dogs! They are a pain but usually gone in a ‘flash’ unlike the bloody advertising trucks creeping around making too much noise too.

Fair enough if you ride big bikes which I don't anymore, I like things to be easy and stress free! No, it's called riding for the ride, not just a destination dude.
We only live once, if you have the time, RIDE!

Korat is about 160km away from the track.
There are loads of hotels there.
Either hire a car or pay for a driver for the day.

Sorry I just entered the correct dates and only the campsite looks available, I'm guessing all the accommodation has been taken off so they can charge a fortune nearer the time, I will be going to Malaysia so much easier and cheaper!!

I looked n booking.com yesterday and plenty of accommodation.Booking.com shows 0 results as well. Couple of possibilities, all rooms are booked or some rooms are being held back until closer to the event. If that is the case, expect a steep rise in prices compared to the norm.
You will also find that people will start advertising their private properties as the event gets closer.
There is also a fair bit of construction going on around town at the moment. My guess is that there will be quite a few more places to stay come October 2019.

Plenty of accommodation close to the track if you book early enough. Thanks for the information.
Sounds like the event was well run. I'll be going next year for sure. Only problem may be securing accommodation, so I will have to look at all options.
I asked this question in the other thread but this thread might be more appropriate. Are the grandstand tickets numbered seats, so you can arrive at anytime and get your seat, or it's simply first in gets to sit where they want?

Some clever nasty people about!
Neither. Withdrew 20,000 walked away and this French rushed up saying I left 1,000 note in the machine. This flustered me. He insisted I go back and check my balance. I had card and did not share PIN as far as I know. Shortly after I counted the 20K. It was all there. Next Kbank I passed I checked balance. All ok. They waited a few days before taking the 50K. Cancelled card. Only use bank book now.

Have to ask, how did a guy relieve you of money, did you give him your card and pin number?
This could apply to any bank in any country. I have have a bank account in Thailand for 22 years. Now have multiple accounts. No money lost except 50,000 baht scammed from my ATM card in Kata. I was stupid enough to let it happen by a smooth taking French guy. I cancelled my ATM card the next day.

Where do you keep your money, In your house or a bank? My 800k has been in the bank for the past 9 years it was still there this morning, what are people supposed to do?800k in a bank that has no replacement of your money if for any reason it goes missing, never in a million years.

Yea that is annoying, can't understand why they make things so difficult for us and themselves, I'm all done for another year.Yes the 800k is an option for me which I have done before and will do again.
As for the other point, why does one get different info from immigration offices. I have no problem following the rules provided they are consistent...….which they are not and that is my main point.
