Chihuahua's are evil nasty little b@stards... yet they can't actually chew off a child's face in a single attack... And this is why the breeds I mentioned earlier are so dangerous.... The power they poses is extreme and their breeding combines to a formidable result - people will argue 'they are ok if they are well trained'... I'd argue, why do they have to have the violence 'trained out of them'.... 'family' Dogs should be saft and sappy by nature... The poodle is not capable of ripping someones scalp off their scull, or tearing their face off.... a Pit Bull is.... the comparison you make is night and day. A Poodle is not less dangerous as (than a) Pitbull - thats complete delusion. In the example you use... a poodle bit someone in the face.... its quite likley that if that dog were a pitbull, it would have ripped off the victims face.... there's a huge difference.

This is not a Binary issue... There's a hard line ruling party implementing draconian and strict policies in Xinjiang, under the premise of national security concerns and the need to combat extremism. On the other side, there is a minority which is claiming and human abuses, assaults on Uyghur identity, culture, and religious freedom along with reports of forced labour, suppression of language, and the separation of Uyghur families. There have been accusations of human rights abuses and even genocide, there have been accusations of terrorism against those fighting back against these 'supposed human rights abuses'... Then in between there is a large grey area in which plenty of 'wrong is occurring'... from taking over aircraft (domestic China flights) with 'handheld weapons' and what would be considered terrorism.. to acts by the Chinese Authorities that the West would term genocide (which I highlighed earlier). We are naïve if we think The Chinese government, under the ruling Communist Party are not extremely harsh against the Uyghur, we are also naïve if we thing the Uyghur have not committed crimes fighting back for their freedoms. Look no further than the persecution of the Falun Gong.... Within China, you either comply exactly with the ruling Communist Party , or you are persecuted... I have very little doubt that those Uyghur being repatriated are facing an inhumane fate - It would not surprise me to learn that those repatriated are no longer with us.

I know..... Its oddly addictive trying to work out if someone people are outright idiots or clever trolls... .... I shouldn't care, but neither do I waste time... I could be watching some crappy TV series etc... I've wasted enough money today investing poorly (not a good day for that)..... Thus - the escapism of chatting on he re-sets the brain little before I go too deeply into the rabbit hole of the other 'stuff' I'm doing... Then... son gets back from school.... its time for a swim and a beer... perhaps out for dinner and I can forget the idiocy of what I've witnessed on this forum today !!!! -
Thai TikToker Condemns Reckless Foreign Drivers in Phuket
richard_smith237 replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Indeed... all he had to do was apply the brakes approaching a junction... even after the car U-Turned there was still time to apply the brakes. That said - the U-Turning car, did so, either a) knowing the bike would be forced to slow (i.e. the driver forced their way out, as many do)... OR b) the driver simply didnt see the motorcycle... Either way, defensive riding from the motorcyclist would have prevented his incident and what were likely serious injuries - the rider was both reckless and stupid. -

Thats strange, on my bike the gas(?) is a twist throttle on the handle bars Being deliberately obtuse neither a humorous wise-arze or a smarty-pants makes..... An obvious 'colloquialism' for 'not want to hit the brakes'.... (and before you go at it... no, I don't actually mean physically hitting as in punching the brakes..... Its a known driving trait here in Thailand.... Letting off the accelerator to slow down, or actively braking to allow someone else space or yield is the very very very last resort of so many drivers and riders.... its a deadly miscalculation of hubris and ego... -
How can you reaffirm that? Another Link please. The link you provided says they were NOT willingly repatriated! Quote; "The Thai government violated domestic and international law by forcibly sending at least 40 Uyghur men to China, where they could face torture," This is one of those issues whereby any public information that is damning or unfavourable is swiftly removed. There is an incredible degree of media control regarding this issue - and if you can't read it in the media... 'it didn't happen'..... right ??? This is not one of those issues where we can 'rely' on news to verify a story, becase there is such a strong 'grip' on the freedom of information.

Agreed.... This will be considered a very unpopular opinion by many... but here goes... 1) Ban the breeding of all dogs considered 'dangerous breeds' 2) Only allow trained and licensed owners of dogs considered 'powerful' 3) Remove all dogs considered 'dangerous breeds' from their homes and euthanise them 4) Remove all dogs considered 'powerful' from their homes if owners are untrained & unlicensed 5) All other dogs must have a collar with the owners name on them. 6) If a dog (with a collar) is found on the street or on public land - the owner faces a fine 7) If a dog is found without a collar, it is removed and euthanised *Dangerous breeds: All Pit Bull breeds, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro. *Powerful breeds: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Bullmastiff, Cane Corso, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, Presa Canario, American Bulldog Not a popular opinion - and I 100% agree, its a horrific solution but its the only solution that would prevent further attacks on innocent children.... Also ban dogs in Condos... Also ban dogs in houses without a resonable garden for them to run in (and that garden must be secure). The issue here - this is a brutal first world solution to a third world problem due to carelessness....

Thai TikToker Condemns Reckless Foreign Drivers in Phuket
richard_smith237 replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
IMO - a lot of decent Thai drivers out there who are considerate and careful. There are also a lot of Foreign drivers out there who are considerate and careful.... ... both categories make up the majority of road users. BUT... there is also a facet of each 'group' who drive and ride like reckless fools, they cause accidents and make the roads dangerous for everyone. Because there are 'more Thais' there are of course more dangerous Thai's on the roads. But, in area's of high tourist footfall such as Pattaya and Phuket, there may be proportionately more dangerous and reckless westerners. In this example given... It looks to me that a motorcyclist was riding quite recklessly at speed as he approached an obvious U-Turn.... he didn't slow down and take defensive action then realised it was too late. In this example, the car driver didn't care, it U-Turned 'forcing' the motorcyclist to 'give way'. Both at fault IMO... but this shows the careless actions of two people and the result. As with many accidents - had just once of the parties not been reckless, the accident would be avoided and I think thats why many of us have so many 'near misses' on a daily basis... We slow, take avoiding action, don't gamble on the actions of others etc... There is a great deal of stupidity on the roads - most people manage to avoid it by being very careful... -

READ... just read this, take in... consider it for a moment and thing... I agree... There is no such thing as a Measles Virus.... I agree with that... Measles is the disease caused by a virus... Just like there is no such thing as a Covid-19 virus... Covid-19 was the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Virus..... Just like a common cold is caused by, Rhinoviruses (most common), Coronaviruses (229E, OC43, NL63, HKU1), Adenoviruses, Enteroviruses etc and many more... Viruses exist,.. and they cause disease. Just like AIDs is caused by Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (HIV-1) and type 2 (HIV-2). And... then there are a number of viruses which an impact the brain... >> Rabies virus: Causes Rabies (severe brain inflammation). >> Herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 & HSV-2): Causes Herpes encephalitis (brain inflammation). >> Varicella-zoster virus (VZV): Causes Shingles & encephalitis (can damage nerves and brain). >> Poliovirus: Causes Polio (can lead to paralysis and brainstem damage). >> Measles virus (MV): Can cause Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (a rarebrain disorder). >> JC virus: Causes Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) (destroys brain’s white matter, common in immunocompromised people). >> HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus): Can cause HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND) (progressive brain damage). I'm becoming more and more convinced that you are suffering one or a number of these latter mentioned diseases....... I really have to stop replying to you, the brainlessness is mind-numbing..... -

Good thats something everyone should be relying on to stay healthy... Clean drinking water is a basic human right, as is being able to live in sanitary conditions... This isn't binary subject - contrary to your implications, viruses can still be spread in clean and sanitary conditions.... to suggest otherwise presents a fundamental lack of understanding of basic science and virology (at very simple levels). I accept that people dislike 'big Pharma'... but for some reason that clouds the most basic of intelligence when they double down their mentally illiterate arguments against vaccination because 'big Pharma' produced them... Without big Pharma, many of wouldn't be here.... But I also agree the large Pharmaceutical companies are also profit driven which does create conflict of interest many of us struggle with. You're probably one of those people who makes statements that start with "you're probably one of those people....." which is a Gaslighting Tactic when you're mentally bankrupt of an intelligent response... -

Again, you've relied upon your survivorship bias, this is a cognitive error where you have focused on the "survivors" of a group and ignored all other factors... In this case you have ignored the factor that your 'group' is incredibly small of 2000 kids. There are approximately 10.63 million school age children in the UK. The projections below show with and without the MMR vaccines. In Summary: Without an MMR vaccine it is likely that 95 children in the UK would die of Measles, with the MMR vaccine, its projected that 1 would.. Without an MMR vaccine it is likely that approximately 100,000 children in the UK would be hospitalised, with the MMR vaccine, its projected that approximately 100 would.. I don' wish to bring other disagreements in from other threads... But, neither do you believe the world is an Oblate Spheroid (a globe) instead believing earth to be 'flat with a jaggedy base'... As such, with the utmost respect I can muster on a personal level and none-whatsoever on an intellectual level - any further entertainment of any discussion with you is completely futile because the points you wish to debate drag the discussion down to the utterly preposterous. When you refute basic proven science - you refute the sound fundamentals from which to enter intelligent dialogue and only the preposterous, the ridiculous, and the utterly idiotic remain as potential discussion points... Its a total waste of time and not even entertaining as a troll... -

You're mixing your melons and its been explained to incredibly clearly. Measles is the disease caused by the by the Morbillivirus.... Morbillivirus is the virus that causes the desease called Measles.... - I don't know how that could explained to you any more clearly. Agreed... and vaccines are available for most of them (some listed below) Diarrhoeal Diseases – Cause: Bacteria, Viruses, Protozoa – Vaccine: Rotarix, RotaTeq (Rotavirus), Dukoral, Shanchol, Euvichol (Cholera) Typhoid Fever – Cause: Salmonella Typhi (Bacteria) – Vaccine: Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV), Vi Polysaccharide Vaccine (ViPS), Ty21a (oral) Hepatitis A – Cause: Hepatitis A virus (Virus) – Vaccine: Hepatitis A vaccine Hepatitis E – Cause: Hepatitis E virus (Virus) – Vaccine: Hecolin Amoebiasis (Dysentery) – Cause: Entamoeba histolytica (Parasite) – Vaccine: None - rarely fatal -

So as an 11 year old child, YOU decided not to take the vaccine, or your parents decided that for you? Correct - at school we were given the option to take the vaccine or opt out. I took the vaccine a few years later at my GP along with other vaccines needed. -

Its a Disease... Just like AIDS is a disease, just live Covid-19 is a disease. You just (nearly) described the very definition of a disease !!!... A disease is a disorder or abnormal condition that affects the structure or function of an organism (i.e. humans), typically producing specific signs or symptoms. It can be caused by infections, genetic defects, environmental factors, or lifestyle choices. Diseases can be classified as infectious (caused by pathogens like bacteria, viruses, or fungi) or non-infectious (such as genetic disorders, autoimmune diseases, or lifestyle-related conditions like diabetes or heart disease). -

hmm... Thailand playing China's puppet again... In July 2015 The Thai government forcibly deported nearly 100 Uyghurs to China and that led to to international criticism. The World Uyghur Congress (WUC) claimed that at least 25 Uyghur men were killed while resisting deportation. The Thai government denied these allegations, and the WUC later removed the claim from its statement. The news was 'somehow' kept extremely quiet, even shut down... Stories have since surfaced from time to time that of those (Military) who were there while this happened described events of far greater atrocity than the those claimed by the WUC... Apparently - Tear Gas was thrown into the transport lorries of the Uyghur who were being transported to the 'repatriation aircraft'... those who fled the truck (to avoid the tear-gas') were shot.... Women and children were in a different truck and all survived... >> This is the rumour, whether true or not remains to be seen, all news information which stated this was deleted within a few days of the event.... its perhaps 'dangerous to discuss'... https://www.benarnews.org/english/news/thai/uyghurs-reported-deaths-07092015151921.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com
