Mr "Ohm" has gone to the Watt to repent his Series of indiscretions asking for a battery of offences to be taken into consideration. In mitigation He said he was living a parallel life at sea… ⚡️

I went to the doctor saying my memory was failing and it might be Alzheimer’s.
"How long’s this being going on " he said.
I replied "How long what’s been going on?"….

I was looking at the Honda CR-V e-HEV RS 4WD.
Any other suggestions?Honda CRV (hybrid best opt) is far more sophisticated than the Fortuner, Everest type which are based on pickup underpinnings. With proper IRS you'll get a far better ride. Decent suspension system makes all the difference.

From their website:
return two weeks in November (2.11. to 17.11.) in Economy standard with checked baggage:
1154 £
Is that a bargain?
(and indeed from Gatwick)
Mobile site is quite challenging to my opinion.
Just booked Eva air £825 direct to Heathrow. Easily the best. Wanted to go to Manchester but Emirates £1230 so £800 saving for 2 of us pays petrol and much more for son in law to drive down to collect us . Convenient flight time too

It is not a two way street though, a Thai who wants to visit the UK has to perform backflips through hoops to have a chance of maybe getting a visa after considerable expense and a pile of paperwork.
It is very racist.
A vacuous, unthinking play of the race card. Very many Western countries have different rules for various nationalities wishing to enter and for good reason. As developed countries they are very attractive for those from poorer countries to overstay, enter the black market for employment etc. ,thus a need to be discriminating and police those wishing to enter. Thailand has a reputation for its nationals doing just that.

RIP to his parents and condolances for him, but I am wondering why this is a news item?? It happen to more people that they are on holiday and got this kind of terrible news that a parent/ sibling/ or other relative died. So why this?
It’s major news inUK and the horrific nature of the accident makes it more so. That their 21 year old son was here in Thailand at the time adds another dimension to a newsworthy story.

In particular those who are adamant that tragedies of this sort can only happen in Thailand and never ever in any other country on this great planet of ours..
No,they don’t think that, but it is true to point out Thailand’s much higher propensity for this sort of accident and RTAs in general.

Good, I hope the chinese lose all their investments, I for one won't be buying the crap particularly if it's labelled premium.
I haven't come across anything remotely premium in their products to date, cheap crap
They’ve got the European and USA markets terrified such are their price differences. The EU and USA are imposing very high tariffs to combat this and could trigger a trade war. Yes that’s on standard models but there are premium models too as another poster has pointed out.

Maybe in the future decades EVs might be worth buying but now they are a very poor investment and also a whole lot of trouble for many reasons.....Their sales are very slow all over the world...
Not in China they aren’t,but that is an outlier in terms of their very cheap prices and is scaring the European and USA motor manufacturers and prompting huge tariffs.

1 million baht is not a lot of money, and you can't retire if you are under 50.
So you don’t understand investment principles. Firstly, bringing in 65k per month (minimum) is far cheaper than losing the investment return on 800k baht, and so even is paying an agent 20k (if you have to) and investing that lump sum wisely. I say that as one whose investments are very considerably in excess of this - but maybe they got that way because I did understand.

If he stays on the elite visa program for 16 years, he’ll end up paying just 6,770 baht per month, which is quite reasonable compared to other long-term residency options..
This is a terrible investment of almost 1 million baht. You have completely forgotten the investment return on that sum. I just have to look at the return on such a sum invested I have achieved on my U.K. SIPP (pension) and ISA (another tax free wrapper).

So the cars were recovered, by the police here in Thailand, seven years ago.
For seven years, the cars have been in police custody.
They obviously cannot just leave them 'parked up', for all of that time, so surely the police will have been taking them for daily 'test runs' to ensure that they are all in perfect working order?
It kept Ferrari Joe busy up until that fateful event with a carrier bag…
