We shall see tonight.
if not then I will go for another stroll at exactly the same time, dressed in the same clothes, ad nauseam until they really get the message.
bob.
Same clothes? Perhaps it was the lurid mankini that sent them packing? Are you hairy like a Greek?... that'll add impact

So the outraged film maker/voyeur only lasted 90 seconds. Still ,he’s got something "in the bank" for later…

We have a Ford Ranger XLT 2x4 since 2018. Great truck with 2L diesel and 10-speed auto transmission. Made in Thailand and no problems. We selected the Ford over the Toyota for less plastic use in interior and positive reports by two friends with Rangers. Love the comfort of 4 doors and the flexibility of the pick-up bed.
4 years old is still a baby in terms of reliability, barely out of warranty. There are 12 - 20 year old Toyotas and isuzus still running around pretty reliably. Have a 10 year old Isuzu with 200k ,few issues, nothing major. But crucially always serviced regularly at main dealer.
Don't buy 4 wheel drive unless absolutely necessary. Worse fuel consumption and ride and another thing to go wrong.

Naked Thai cyclists?! I do hope they were the appropriate age and gender! 😋

I have owned Mitsubishi's that have done over 300,000 km, IMO Mercs are overrated.
JD Power puts German prestige cars quite low on their reliability ratings. Toyota, honda ,lexus , Hyundai are at the top unsurprisingly. 100k is no feat in terms of reliability. Daughters 10 year old Yaris in UK has only ever needed 3 windscreen wipers and frankly looks set for another 10 years without much issue..

Two weeks is not enough.
I left my wife/wives about 43 years ago.
Best decisions I ever made.
Leaving for two weeks is pointless....because...then...
You must worry about your return.
It’s what you return WITH you gotta worry about! . 😩

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt is the best summary of that inane comment.

So no cogent counter argument? I guess "end of" signals the low point of your economic illiteracy.

Capitalism at it's best. A real Capitalist is the worst type of person on earth bettered only by rapists and paedophile's.
Have you seen the results of communism and socialism as an alternative? Capitalism has lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty . Suggest you read some basic economics to better inform your opinions...as well as the ” greengrocer's apostrophe ”.

Agree where certain destinations like Thailand are concerned. A September flight Nice France to Bristol, easyJet, with a suitcase 300€. That’s 1hr 25 mins flight . No other options with a case. I choose BA Nice Heathrow and then airport link to Bristol , all cheaper than easyjet and nicer. Second flight , Nice to Venice December , with easyjet, no other option , 300€ + . 1 hour flight. Late leaving, late arriving , awful. Emirates to Bangkok has greatly increased in price, I’ve used for many years , now I fly Swiss Air through Zurich. Fantastic and great service, delicious food and much cheaper. You have to pick and choose . In France where my main home is, people are using trains a lot. Also in Italy, Spain. Took a few Frecciarossa trains in Italy and it’s 1st class luxury ! I think trains are the future , not necessarily much longer as no check in or airport wait and stations mostly in the cities . The number of luxury bus coach companies have sprung up in EU too, making travel a lot cheaper.
Trains are inherently costlier than air, especially over longer distances. National railways are very often subsidised too. A railway needs not only a station at each end but the expensive infrastructure and maintenance all along the journey. A plane just needs somewhere to take off and somewhere to land , nothing in-between.

I don't have an a/c yet.... But it's getting to be a very tempting proposition.
36 in my room last night and all the fan does is ensure you stay hot! A spray bottle of water helped a bit.
From what I've read on the forums, inverter a/c's are the way to go
Korat is a pretty hot place in Thailand often with little breeze,it's going to get hotter still over next few months.
Yes an inverter Aircon unit is the way to go. From experience and others recommendations start with mitsubishi brand. Daikin also is highly rated.

That's a good pump but very expensive,I think cos it has an inverter. We bought the model down XS, without inverter and 350 W so nearly as powerful. It's half that price. We water the garden extensively through a few outlets and it's plenty powerful for that. Superior to Mitsubishi in my opinion and still reasonable price
