Im not going to tell them about any conditions, i dont have access to uk doctor or files so how would they know
Not an expert, but isn’t that fraud ?
From a practical perspective all they would do is not pay up having pocketed the premium. They only investigate once a claim is made. So if he was registerd with a uk doctor when he was treated in uk for these conditions he would be asked to supply a copy of his uk medical report (the insurers can’t just access it -data protection-) and not doing so would stop his claim . Most uk insurers don’t allow you to take insurance once Yoir trip already started anyway

Thanks but I'm not in Thailand... My flight however is for BKK to LHR
If you paid for the flight using a UK credit card contact the bank saying you wish for a refund (chargeback) as under section 75 of the Consumer Credit act the card company is jointly liable . This even applies to whole amount if you only paid a proportion on the card.

He's been quick to tax me on the slight increase in my modest pension, an extra nine quid tax this month, ok only just over a hundred quid more tax a year, but it all adds up.
As there’s no increase in state pension while abroad I infer the increase comes from an occupational/private pension. The £9 extra tax per month, assuming you pay standard tax at 20% means you got a £45 per month increase. If that was a slight increase (say 2%?) that would mean your pension was £2250 per month. Is that about right?

Yes,I can’t wait to see the results of that - drunk man talks to someone possessed of the Thick Gene. Bound to remove any form of logic or reasoning!

Thing is once a 911 back end steps out its very hard to recover from.
This is because of the pendulum effect of the engine BEING IN THE WRONG PLACE.
????
That aspect which certainly applied to older versions has largely been engineered out meaning a 911 is one of the world’s best handling cars.

But you are always basing your posts on facts and substantial information? Really, it´s nice to have you here as the rock we can all rely on.
Also you take a newspaper as source for disputing other facts. Yep, that´s right!" We all know that everything that stands in the press is true. No,you still haven’t grasped this debating and counter argument principle, have you? You really need to take your own advice "stupid is stupid enough". Whatever that’s supposed to mean.

You should feel ashamed!
You never seem able to construct any counter argument, just an unsubstantiated opinion or admonishment .The poster acknowledges this may have been a genuine gesture but also argues a substantiated credible alternative for which there is precedent. You should try to be more ambitious in the composition of your posts unless you simply don’t have the intellect.

So, if I understand you right you are saying: Due to the incompetence of officials without foresight, the population automatically feel the need to stockpile a totally unnecessary product. Thanks! Makes much more sense to me now.
If not, please explain what you mean. It’s very easy to understand (for most anyway) . If there’s a large market for something (whether you wish there wasn’t or not is irrelevant) and by unnecessarily announcing you will introduce an artificial shortage with highly predictable adverse results ,yet you continue to do that anyway and yet are surprised when that does happen ,doesn’t that make the creator of the chaos the thick one?

Very mature comment. Good job! ????
However, also very wrong. You lost your bet. Not more than your ego, though. ????
No, I am not in the kitchen at parties, even if I am a well educated chef with long experience in the entertainment business. However, I know when it´s time to party and when it´s adviced not to party. Probably something that you still have to learn.Of course you’re not in the kitchen at parties....you never get invited in the first place!

Totally unfathomable. It´s amazing how many adult adolescent power drinkers and hoarding mental infants there is in this world. How can people see alcohol as an important part of getting through a virus outbreak? That´s extremely low, instead of with a clear mind face the difficulties and look reality in the eye. I see this behaviour as the cowards way out, but that´s only my opinion.
Whatever the commodity,if you announce you are creating an artificial shortage it will predictably create a panic buy situation. Your feelings of 'unfathomable' should be directed at officials who once again do not have the foresight or IQ to understand this. Incompetence.

No big deal! Mistakes happens. This is not a normal situation, and many of the persons planning this, is doing this for the first time and hopefully once in their life time. I am sure they will fix it and make it work. Everybody can make mistakes.
Except they continue to make same predictable mistakes time after time in whatever field, never learning. There appears to be a genetic deficiency of foresight. This stems back to officials not being in their position through merit, but by nepotism or corruption.

A most welcome news...On behalf of all foreigners in the kingdom, Thank you Immigration department and may the spirit of compassion and understanding will prevail and expand to other departments having to do with your guests in this country...
Rather over generous thanks given the unwarranted time they’ve taken to do the most simple and obvious thing that other countries did immediately.Be under no illusion that this was only prompted by the embarrassing and damning photos of the carnage posted by Richard Barrow. Shameful.

The solution,as arrived at by surrounding countries, takes as long to get to in minutes as the IQ of a typical government official....so about FIVE.

Anyway, lost tourism means only 9% to 17% of GDP that needs to be replaced. Pretty sure the already mature services sector can fill the gap and the younger more agile generation of workers will easily retrain and adapt.
The notion that Thailand will become a total basket case after all the foreigners stop coming is quite funny. Did you come up with that one yourself?
'Only' 17% of GDP shows your economic illiteracy. I guess you haven’t or had the mental capacity to read the significant slowing of growth in Thailand in the last couple of years. To imagine that size of loss as insignificant when the country emerges into a global recession post Coronavirus indicates an IQ lower than a typical government minister.
