Lived in Brighton few years ago and it is as you say. There was one gay guy who owned a club and few guest houses, a nasty cranky old queen. Was a big supporter and donator to local tory party. Too much stereo typing goes on and unless you actually worked or had friends are gay every one is different in what they believe in wether its politics or what they prefer to eat for breakfast.
