  1. Many of these comments seem very odd.

I buy a lot of tech stuff here and the prices are fair and reasonable.

If you try to buy cheap, then that's what you'll get. Buy a Windows device from a dodgy source, you'll get a dodgy product with dodgy software.

It's not really difficult, my fine fellows.

Is it me, or do I just have a slightly more realistic view than some of you?

You are right, we also buy at least 10 computers a year for office and it is of course not worth buying abroad (even if we could because we often have staff going to US or EU).

  2. Quite similar, and anyway what is a 10% difference ?

The big thing now is that outside Mac it is impossible to find a good small lighweither powerful ultrabook.

All manbufacturers focus on shiite touchscren laptops or tablet laptops and it's impossible to find a very good one WITH A SMALL SCREEN even for 50000+

  3. PM threatens to shut down local Thai daily

    26-12-2557-11-09-45-wpcf_728x407.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha lost his patience at a press conference yesterday, emotionally lambasting a Thai newspapers which criticised him daily with bias, and threatening to shut it down.

He didn’t mention the name of the Thai daily, but said this papers strongly criticised him on all columns and all pages.

He said he didn’t read this paper, but was forced to when his aids bought it and showed to him what it said about him.

“I have been in long patience with it. What’s gone wrong with this papers. It goes mad, picking on me everyday and everyone. I don’t want to read it. If I read it, my patience will burst and that will tarnish my image as a government leader. I will shut it down, really. Otherwise the existing martial law will be useless.”

He then said this was a reason why martial law will stay to ensure smooth reform of the country to return happiness and stability to the country.

He said this was also a reason why the press media needed to reform itself.

But he assured that he would exercise Article 44 constructively and would never use it to put anyone in jail or put anyone on a firing squad.

He then said he would lodge a complaint with the press association against the newspaper.

He really think that he is god, right ? Hope elections will show him soon that he is nothing !

  4. The obvious missing factor not mentioned in the report is the lack of competence and naivety of the driver. Once again if driver training had been mandatory and this particular point covered, then this and many other accidents could have been avoided, but sadly, not ALL accidents. You can't fix STUPID.

You're right, you can't fix STUPID (posts). There is not one country, anywhere, whose driver training covers what to do if a water bottle gets jammed under the brake pedal and forces down on the accelerator causing uncontrolled acceleration.

Yes but in some countries people are careful enough and have enough "knowledge" to avoid that a bottle get stuck...

  5. Bottle under your break pedal?

    1. let the gas

    2. use the hand-brake

    3. use the steering wheel.

Impossible ! They are born here, how do you want that they have any quick idea ?

What a racist statement is it an attempt to be funny?

No, just facts, you just landed and still know nothing ? Or still dreaming ? Wait few more days and then you will know that it's not their main quality...

  6. Hello,

Do you know where the curtain shops buy their fabric ? I only know the Indian Pakistan Nepalese shop near Tukcom Pattaya and Prahurat market in Bangkok, but I guess that all the curtain makers know other places to source fabric around Pattaya ? Or they all go to Bkk to buy it ?

And do you know any really cheap shop to make curtains ? They all are overpriced because we need too many curtains for a new office.

    Thank you.
