  1. @tonray well thats not a choice then is it. thats what you call blackmail.
  2. @hotchilli the viewpoint being.... just cower behind the sofa for the rest of your life or the other viewpoint crack on with life cuz covid is going nowhere.
  3. so you have barley changed the rules since you started letting people in when there was no vaccine. being vaccinated has got to count for something or there's no point. cmon thailand you just said you got to start living with it, so drop all the red tape for vaccinated people and the rest of the nonsense. one test either before you come or when you get here for vaccinated people and that should be it. drop all the BS. coe etc etc
  4. @Drees JESUS! i bet you're fun on a night out. that's if the doctors and scientists have told you its ok to go out!
  5. people who come to phuket were <deleted> off that bars weren't open. imagine what people coming to pattaya will be like. so PM we know you got some sort of beef with alcohol but you best open the nightlife up for october or ya gonna have a trickle of tourists coming. you might not like alcohol but tourists do when their on holiday. wake up and smell the coffee.(or beer!)
  6. @orchidfan about right not in general use. cuz it isnt used here much in real life!
  7. beaches remain closed. only in thailand. look up the word logic in thai and there isnt one. true fact
  8. you'll never get the thais to live with the disease. they have a total irrational fear of it and also they will be in for a massive shock when they find out that even be vaccinated you can still catch it and spread it. cuz im sure most thais think once they've had the vaccine thats it they'll never catch it.
  9. this should say proof of vaccination or negative tests. they have worded that wrong, you don't need both
  10. whys everyone moaning? it will be the usual.... they do it for about two weeks and then you will be able to go into restaurants unchallenged. which im all for.
  11. would it be possible to fly indirect to get round it or would you still be pulled? asking for a friend
  12. in other words were too lazy to do that. gotta be the laziest nation on the planet without doubt
  13. thank god they have decided to manipulate the numbers and we can start getting everything opened up again. and start living, after having had an year and half of our lives robbed by the disproportionate reaction of the world's governments.
  14. thank god. get them bars open. lets start living again instead of cowering. covid is never going away ever so we gotta live with it. thats the bottom line. no amount of restrictions or lockdowns is gonna change that, oz and new zealand have proved that with their ridiculous zero policy. LETS PARTY
  15. one mill. surely thats a reason to celebrate, get the bars open and lets drink to that
  16. @LongTimeLurker i was quoting someone else, and that ridiculous statement. lockdown supporters always wheel out that argument. i can assure you im no lockdown supporter, im the exact opposite
  17. @Danderman123 if not for the lockdowns, the death toll would be higher..... if my auntie had bo***cks she'd be my uncle
  18. a lot of posters on here really seem to think no-one will wanna come here, and don't get me wrong its not gonna be on the scale that it was but they seem to forget there's people about who now haven't had a holiday for over a year and a half and they have money to burn. i know plenty of people who are willing to come here. if they can open in the nov/dec time there will be europeans wanting to finally get away for the winter and they are getting a bit more for their money now as well that's a added bonus.
  19. and still no mention of a exit plan/roadmap out of lockdown. just leave us all in limbo
