paulikens replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
so you have barley changed the rules since you started letting people in when there was no vaccine. being vaccinated has got to count for something or there's no point. cmon thailand you just said you got to start living with it, so drop all the red tape for vaccinated people and the rest of the nonsense. one test either before you come or when you get here for vaccinated people and that should be it. drop all the BS. coe etc etc -

Phuket Sandbox is failing foreign tourists: tourism official

people who come to phuket were <deleted> off that bars weren't open. imagine what people coming to pattaya will be like. so PM we know you got some sort of beef with alcohol but you best open the nightlife up for october or ya gonna have a trickle of tourists coming. you might not like alcohol but tourists do when their on holiday. wake up and smell the coffee.(or beer!) -
you'll never get the thais to live with the disease. they have a total irrational fear of it and also they will be in for a massive shock when they find out that even be vaccinated you can still catch it and spread it. cuz im sure most thais think once they've had the vaccine thats it they'll never catch it.

a lot of posters on here really seem to think no-one will wanna come here, and don't get me wrong its not gonna be on the scale that it was but they seem to forget there's people about who now haven't had a holiday for over a year and a half and they have money to burn. i know plenty of people who are willing to come here. if they can open in the nov/dec time there will be europeans wanting to finally get away for the winter and they are getting a bit more for their money now as well that's a added bonus.
