I'm antitheist, so I don't embrace any religious stuff. I'm hoping all of it will go away all over the world. And they can take the State with it, too.

I was born too soon. I want to be around a couple hundred years from now when religion God and the State are all finally done away with and we live happy peaceful productive lives for a change.

That's true. Even my LxPup Precise Retro has a few issues between the Internet in the browser. It comes with SeaMonkey installed. SeaMonkey is a serious resource hog. The install Opera with the operating system too, to make up for it.

But even so, Puppy has everything I need and I don't really do anything to or add anything to the operating system except Libre Office. I just plug it in and use it the way it is.

Puppy is based on Arch. Solid as a rock. Easy to use. Everything works right out of the box.

All the talk about violence against women, violence against children, etc., etc is nonsense. There shouldn't There shouldn't be any violence against anyone.

Of course violence against women is on the rise. It always is when the economy is down and the future looks bleak.

Long-time Slackware user here.

I've tried to like a few other distros but never found anything that works for me as well as good old Slackware.

If systemd gets its talons into Slack then it'll be one of the BSDs next, probably FreeBSD, hopefully Pat V won't let it come to that though.

I've looked all over Kamphang Saen and can't find a store with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for use with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I am pretty certain it has to be Bluetooth. The wireless units I can pick up all over town won't work with the Note 3.

I want full-sized keys, not those tiny things people are using these days.

Anyone know where I can buy one in or near Kamphang Saen? I will mail order the thing, too, if I have to.

I love the minimalist distros. Right now, I am running Puppy Linux LxPup Precise Retro 14.02 on my old 32-bit laptop machines-and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everything works!
