Thailand is not a haven for riff raff - people must respect the law and come in with a proper visa, obey the quite reasonable "residential" restrictions and so on. Try to come in illegally in say Australia!

I have had a 21" iMac and a 13" MaCair for about 5 years (had the same before) and love them.

But Apple are a nasty and greedy company - so be prepared to fork out as they'll grab as much (and more) from you as they can .

MDMayes is about right US$10,000 should give you a nice and reasonably comfortable holiday.  It is not nearly as cheap as it once was - thks in part to the very strong baht, but overall we think it is good value and the food/people/weather can't be beat.

But that is a personal opinion and one man's meat...
