Makes you wonder what would happen if, you as a foreigner, say something against the CCP, and the CPP issues an arrest warrant for you, do the Chinese police find you, arrest you, then drag you back to their country on a military/private plane?

Why do they do this? Acquiesce or something else? Now you understand that they are looking for fighter jets and whatever. Everyone that has a brain or actually does some research will know that the Thai government would eventually concede to this craziness. Thailand loves to play neutrality but it will come to bite them in the ass. IF they allow this, then they will allow anything and especially against foreigners....don't panic but keep you eyes and ears open. This isn't good for anyone. All of you foreigners with a pension sitting on your ass and don't care.....now is the time to at least look at what's going on in the world.

5555.  Everyone has an opinion and that's really all I was attempting to incite.  Sometimes I get tired of reading all of the typical posts about carnage on the road, over stayers, foreigner bashing, health insurance.  Just something different to talk about for those who think about stuff like this.  At the end of the day I won't live long enough for it to even matter but it's still a topic I find intriguing and even those that are adamantly sure about what they feel is the truth one way or another, no one truly knows.  It's not like I know either but I've done enough research in regards to DNA to know we didn't come from monkey's as we've always been taught.  That's a fact.  As humans, we have this innate motivation (most of us anyways) to want to know about anything and everything.  It's what separates us from all other life here on earth.  Thanks for all the messages.  If anyone ever figures it out in the next 20 years, start another thread :-).  Cheers!

My Grandfather who was born in 1909 saw so much change as he grew up. I recall driving with him and my mobile phone rang (nokia 3300 or something) and he was amazed that I could be talking to someone as I was driving..... It was new to to me as well back a few years... Now look where we are...

You are very correct in that religions still control governments, The Vatican has more wealth than many small countries.  Religionis all so medieval, from back when humans did not understand atoms, physiology,  or photosynthesis and such.

It doesn't matter to you and that's fine.  People back then didn't even see their 50th birthday sometimes so the fact that they spent so much time trying to figure things out should give you some inclination as to what they were thinking about.  Again, just asking the question.  Some people care.  If you don't, that's fine :-).
