  1. This is positive news indeed. Suspect it wont matter a dam about proving vaccine. Will just be so good to go out for a meal again.
  2. 2 terrible goals to concede, Hart should have put laces through ball, he also had a lucky escape in second half when he totally misjudged a high ball on edge of penalty box, did make a few decent saves. Jury still out on Starfelt, another major screw up. Our goal was really well worked, great ball by Ralston. Monty did well, poor positioning initially when he came on but grew into game, Walsh and Ralston really good. We seemed to get over run in midfield, I wanted RC ahead of Tam from the start, he did come into it when Tam got hooked, and we seemed better balanced at that stage. 4 days left on transfer window, we still need some bodies, especially a LW. Scales in Glasgow today for medical, saw first glimpses of him for SR last night, looks decent, eye for goal, big lad.
  3. For me, best Indian food in Pattaya at the moment is Curry Home, Soi Bouakow, near Lingkee junction, and also best priced. Free delivery too.
  4. I actually tried 2 of these deals a few weeks ago, had a lamb and a chicken dish. Chicken was fine, lamb a bit tough. Was a well presented meal, worth a try.
  5. Was thinking exact same, brain dead comment indeed.
  6. One of the first on the opening up list back in Europe, was restaurants with outdoor dining facilities. I have never heard this being suggested in Thailand?? Surely this should be one of the first measured considered.
  7. Great news indeed, Thailand cracking on with vaccine program, must be up to 40% with at least first jab??? At last, some light at the end of the tunnel.
  8. Just reckon they should sack the overly complex sandbox, 7-7 nonsense and just allow anyone that has been fully vaccinated in. Sure, still a risk but minimal, especially in the current lockdown. This would be aimed at allowing Thais abroad to return more so than tourists.
  9. Another slick performance, well impressed with quick movement of the ball and clever runs off the ball. Tam(rested) and Forrest(knock) replaced by RC and Eddy. Always exciting to see 2 strikers play together. St M shot themselves in foot with a horrendous tackle on Turnbull, who would go on to have an outstanding game, netting hat trick. New Croat defender in the house, seems to tick a lot of boxes. Interestingly, read somewhere that he can fill in at LB too, as Taylor is the weak link in Ange’s system. Hopefully, some more transfer movement in the coming days. Also, hearing that we have offered Griff and cash for Nesbet, would be a good deal, as fans seem to have finally given up on Griff following his recent antics.
  10. Another positive performance. Great to see Eddy and Gogo starting together, both getting on the score sheet. Our midfield of Tam, DT and CMcG really impressive, moving the ball quickly, aided by some clever movement up front, evident with the first goal. Welsh with a great header for second goal after a clever short corner. We did gift them a way back in, Starfelt sleeping on the ball, concedes a pen. Then Gogo with a great finish-maybe a slight deflection. They did pull another back in stoppage time. Starfelt is still finding his feet, gives me the fear when he tackles in the box, got away with one just before the penalty and then gestured to the ref to card the boy for diving, hate to see that in one of our players. Welsh outstanding, apart from one rash challenge. Both full backs doing reasonably well, although Taylors lack of pace will be his undoing. Another week goes by and no transfer movement. What should be priority is to get contract extensions for both Eddy and Christie. Wishful thinking but can dream on.
  11. Dig your heels in and stay put, move out and you loose a lot. Find yourself a young fit bird to bang on the side, will make you feel upbeat.
  12. Another positive performance and result at a packed CP last night, so good to have the place almost full. Played some breathtaking football in the first half of the first half, one touch crisp sharp, with Tam outstanding. Overall, totally controlled the game. Turnbull MOM, and with 2 cracking goals, CMcG running the show. Both full backs played well, Christie worked hard, was everywhere but his touch looked a tad off. Forrest reasonable, still working his way back to match sharpness. Big JH with 2 outstanding saves, still rusty with ball to feet but getting there. Welsh and CF starting to developing a partnership. Gogo missed a sitter in the first min but worked hard. Eddy came on and also missed a one on one sitter, luckily JF there to stab home. A raft of subs made little impact, Monty does look promising. Nothing happening on the transfer scene, Looks like Hjelde is away to Leeds, never miss what you never had. Have to say, having watched highlights of all Colts games, would much rather give Lawel a chance, guy has been outstanding, is captain and looks a beast. Also, Moffet and Vata look really decent from that side. More worrying, is lack of movement on the deadwood-Barkas, Bain, Ajeti, Boli etc. Next up Hearts on Sunday, starting to get the buzz back.
  13. Just something I dont get, probably discussed already but the Thai authorities fully vaccinate a Thai national, who then travels outside Thailand and is forced to quarantine upon returning in ASQ for 2 weeks? Is that like saying " we vaccinate you but dont reckon its worth a dam" ???? Am I missing something?
  14. Positive performance yesterday, liked Managers team selection-no defensive midfielder, good decision against poor quality opposition at home. And he was rewarded. Great to see Walsh instead of Bitton, hopefully extended run to build partnership with CF. Christie outstanding, worked really well with CMcG and Turnbull, always looking to get on the front foot. Agog deadly finishing, reminiscent of a past striker. Taylor poor again, time and again moves broke down when he was involved. Did hear Eddy injured himself in warm down.
  15. Decent enough result mid week, once again clouded by shambolic defending. Listening to big John H in studio, telling it how it is, quality from the big yin, go along with everything he said. Hart look rusty, especially with ball at feet. Starfelt ropey & Abada looked good, as did Yogo up front. CalM does seem to be coming back to himself of old. Soro finding his feet in midfield, suspect he is hamstrung trying to play with both our full backs. Aussie Tam offered nothing again when introduced, Christie looking keen, took his goal well, Forrest decent. Turnbull poor again, as he has been all season so far. Cant understand Walsh not playing. Really need 2 new fullbacks and a LW in before we can progress. Next up Dundee on Sunday, be great to have the fans back.
  16. Joe Hart and James McC in the door yesterday, both EPL experience and happy enough with Hart, go so far as to say if we play Hart with handcuffs, he would still be better than the imposters we have been putting between the sticks. James McC is a player I have seen lots of times for ROI and he does nothing for me, a total not brave player on the ball. But, lets give him a shot.
  17. Can I ask why BKK? I would suggest BKK is most expensive place to live in Thailand, your savings will go a lot further elsewhere in Thailand. Saying that, if you screw the nut and dont get taken for any Thai scam, you should have enough to have a reasonable standard of living.
