Don't want to spoil the party, but even keeping this speed of 300k a day jabs...
130 days = 40 million 1st shot
+
130 days = 40 million 2nd shot
Take out 1 day a week, and some public holidays....that is a full year...
And only if, and that is a big IF everything keeps on this speed, which it may not.

While Moderna jab isn't about to be arriving, touted for October the earliest ( pick your year?)
Estimating the windfall now is practical, since order now, the new Porsche or Audi of your choice will also happen to take months.
Thai strategic planning at work.
Medical fees, insurance fee, doctor fee, check up fee...enough to make any hospital salivate.
Oh, that they have the hiso and government officials and police generals on the board of directors and shareholders, a coincidence only.
After all stopping the virus is a humanitarian priority, and profit shouldn't be the priority.
But tourism out of the picture, skin the sheep that is available now: virus fear and vaccination. A trillion baht business.

All these fantasy proposals.
TAT bosses must be really desperate.
Wonder when someone will come up with the idea to set up a Go-Fund-Me for Thailand ?
Don't need to come, just donate us!
target amount 1 trillion, no expiration date.

So reassuring that they gave already talking and planning 3rd dose next year...
If only they would start with the 1st dose finally the whole thing would be a lot more credible.

Going by the list,
Looks like DUI ( drunk driver) is not a penalty cause...?
Not much I see about fines for speeding listed either, but potentially a no license plate can be a saving in a longer journey since there is an increasing number of speed cameras ( likely 50% not working though)...
Fine for hitting a policeman and dragging and killing him?

Remove the temptations of Moderna for months, so more will be content to get the inferior sinovac or the AZ that most Europe stopped to administer by now.
Seeing the rich not taking those "great" available shots, soon the general public would smarten up and demand the better too...
The odd influencers won't change that sinovac is the lowest rated jab, barely over the 50% efficiency.
Someone has to do something, to save face and prevent an uproar.
And Moderna thus delayed, and Pfeizer pretty much never mentioned anymore...the 20 million shot available comment pretended never existed...

The 2000thb fine sounds serious power to hold back would be police impersonators.
Those on limited budget can dress up to impersonate Buddhist monk for a discount price of 1000thb.

Not so good...but 60% are prison cases so easier to contain.
Contain?
That is the point, so high numbers bcos so highly contained.
By the photo illustration they arrive to carry on the model into the field hospitals too.
Forget about 1.5m distance, just squeeze the tight, so those who have a mild covid of one kind, may get infected with a different?

Why first, if ppl want Moderna, and it was approved weeks earlier...plus there is willing ppl to actually pay for it the "non-profit" double price like farangs always do...and still...the Chinese bribes win the race??

I can see how the man may be scared by the pool, having civilian ppl running toward him.
Whatever they shouting, police or thugs to abduct...the later just as credible assumption by someone.
"Misunderstanding" is a handy word often used when backtracking on wrong...
This time the Chinese guy can just cover with that the shooting, quite rightfully.

Interesting tactic trying to catch up with other countries in the vaccine race.
Only problem that the immune response isn't equal after shot#1 ,
Will result a false sense of safety in ppl whereas by the 16th week many case the efficiency of the first shot will come very close of those village temple Buddha amulets...

...then after the 2nd jab our beloved leader Prayuth was shocked to read the study saying that against the locally newly popping up South-African strain AZ said to be only 10% efficient.
Living happily ever after...or not....

Those who sustain permanent disabilities or chronic illness, which will require lifelong treatment and which seriously affects their livelihood as a direct result of the vaccination, are also entitled to an initial compensation payment of up to 400,000 baht from the NHSO.
In case of the loss of a limb, or a disability which will affect their livelihood, the vaccinated individual is entitled to initial compensation of 240,000 baht.
Very bad advertising!!
Anyone hesitant about taking the vaccine bcos of it safety, now most certainly will vote NO to the government choice!!
Not to mention, that with even a minimum of 300thb a day salary, 240.000 thb for a permanent disability covers what? Less than 2.5 yrs min wage?
Real assuring for a 30-40 yo employee with children...

The Brazilian data long known.
The Chinese bribe practice long known too.
Given a 3rd world country, and a close cut result only 0.3% above the waterline, not exactly reason for confidence.
But all that apart, the simple fact that now 90%+ efficiency vaccines available for similar price.
So why force sinovac?
Even other Chinese vaccines like Sinopharm way better on test results.

In the end a private hospital is a business.
If free, everyone would show up there when suspect they gave covid, for free VIP treatment, not the government hospital with dorm like rooms for 10 or more, in small towns many more.
Would be next to demand Michelin restaurants to serve 40 baht food items like the market stall?
It just one fact that life doesn't work that way. Unfair, perhaps, but a fact.
who can't pay for a limo go by taxi.
Who can't pay for taxi go by motorbike.
Who can't pay for motorbike go by bus.
Who can't pay for bus walk.
Who can't walk pray for Buddha.
Disclaimer: I can't afford some private hospital. But not I demand it.

"Lucky" the Prayuth and co. became politicians, leading an army in war this flip-flop would cost many soldiers life.
Good thing no war.
So "only" civilians die due his (in)action.

She got one thing right ( mostly): any vaccine is better than non.
Unfortunately the any in the moment mostly mean a mediocre Chinese one.
I am with the camp suspecting this "star" had made a deal, and do what influencers do: sell herself for someone who pays for her to post.
Rarely if ever will get a honest review from a paid influencer.

31 million applied for government handouts.
Simple solution: a next round of handout for those who get vaccinated.
Right bait to catch the fish, is important.

"Mr Paiboon insisted that private hospitals will not make a profit from the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine."
sounded credible, sort of, until this last sentence.
in the age of internet, it takes a few clicks to find the price range of a Moderna ( if any other covid vaccines for that matter).
it isn't the mentioned 3500-4000thb per shot.
to make profit for private hospitals is ok.
to falsify the truth not ok.

Financial incentives, like receive next round of government handout if vaccinated can work.
As if mandatory vaccination us totally wrong...well it does exist long time, all over the world.
Every country, every child gets a set of vaccines, mandatory.
Only difference covid vaccine is the moment a short time solution, which what it worth perhaps at some day can be replaced by a pill, like the antibiotics for pneumonia.
The moment it seems covid took over the common flu, that is long time around, with a yearly round of voluntary vaccine available against.
It does kill 1000s of elderly each year most countries, but voluntary jab.
