Good day
I entered Thailand with my old passport which is still valid until the
1 rest of February 2026. My old passport was not invalidated in Germany. But as I understand there won't be any issues at immigration.
Thank you for your advice.

I'm due for my new extension in August 25. Do i face problems with immigration upon my new extension? At the time on the 7 th August 25 my old passport will expire on the 1 rest February 2026 .

Now update on my case : I went again to the revenue place in Pattaya to have my dues finally assessed. Hurray hurray I was assed 0 tax payment but was asked to pay THB 5000 for the clearance certificate alike also 4 of my friends. Only one escaped the payment for he is on s 20 years elite visa. Now my question: do have others here similar experience with this new fee ?

Story from Pattaya
Went on thuesday to the revenue office with my bank statements and books. I had thb 299000 transferred acc. to my statements and the 800000 in my second book for the annual extension. I transferred the THB 800 k in 2023. I asked the officer for a tax accessment. The officer came up with THB 5000 in income tax. I disputed the amount for I pointed out I'm pensioner 65 plus hence to be entitled to at least tax rebates THB 560k. That was denied for I was advised that also the 800 k are taxable? I left advising I would seek a second opinion.

My opinion Thailand is playing ball with OECD rules to receive some comfort from Europe visa policy etc.
But in reality the join brics countries thus OECD crab can be forgotten about including Thai tax matters.

Today integrity legal on YouTube
Title when should expats truly worry
about Tax in Thailand. The CEO expressed explicitly again that 80%
Of expat retirees in Thailand shouldn't worry about tax matters.
Also that there is no intend by immigration to include tax matters into the visa etc.. process in the foreseeable future. That guy is the most credible source.

My tax income return after deduction of the 560000 is minus THB 22000 , how do they treat a negative income at the Thai revenue department? Is that rolled over like in Austria to the next tax return?
