Gday In Germany you receive every year a annual statement from the German pension fund which details your yearly gross/net pension income with contributions to social security . The German consul Mr. Hofer Pattaya can confirm this with a letter issued in English. Thereto this letter can be used for the mixed method pension income and money in the bank. Wbr Roobaa01

The validity of my new passport is 10 years. When working in sales I used to carry two sometimes three German travel passports for I travelled to Israel , Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon etc. Secondly I travelled also on business to Red China and in those days visa processing could take upto two months. My second and third passport was each validated 5 years each never 6 years!!!! Wbr Roobaa01

Your post does not apply because the German embassy does only allow for it in extraordinary circumstances otherwise no. Anyway thankful for the suggestions as well as comments rendered. My conclusion I apply shortly prior to extension for a now extension and combine it with the annotation. Thus worse case they issue an extension for the remaining time 7.8 to 1.2.2026 Wbr Roobaa01

The answer to the question: the local German officer advised me not to cancel my old passport for they said it would invalid my Thai extension. Thus given they left it valid. Want Roobaa01

Gay My new passport is a renewal passport. I had to go to Germany to obtain it coz of German registration rules meaning I'm still registered with a German address for my flat over there. Hence I cannot apply for a new German passport locally with the German embassy in Bangkok. Wbr Roobaa01

Good afternoon I returned to Thailand on the 09072025 arriving at 6.00 hours from Helsinki. At immigration check point I have the officer firstly my old valid German passport containing my 12 months extension til 7.8.25 and re-entry permit , passport valid until 1.2.26. The officer stamped me in 9.7.25 valid stay 7.8.25. Thereupon I gave him my new German passport hinting my old passport would have less than 6 months validity on the 7.8.25. However the officer rejected my request to stamp me also in on my new passport. I was advised to go to my local immigration and that my passport was still valid .Question is that correct? Wbr Roobaa01
