Good morning
I was changing my Name from double name back to my Single family name. So I went to the foreigners Minister in chaengwatrana having translated and certifitied my birthday certificate with the revised name. For me that was all I needed to do.
Cheers

Tell you friend not to take the chance of Finnair refusing to fly him. He should buy a throway ticket to exit Thailand within 30 days and show it if required. Alternatively he could "rent" an onward ticket from one of the various sites that offer this service.
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=onward+ticket+service
How can finnair refuse if the incumbent is married to a thai national with relevant documents?

Not sure only 30 days is required, last i read if using a reentry permit it's how long is left on your extension, could be 11+ months
On the second page of the thai pass they ask for the returning reason one with extension of stay answers returning to Thailand .Then the insurance question is not request Ing legt of stay thus 30 days BeIng enough.

It will be accepted. You really only need 30 days of covid 19 insurance. After selecting returning to Thailand on the first page of the registration page (no departure date is shown when you select it).
First Thk u @ubonjoewhich insurance should i resort to apart from axa ?

Indeed an agent might have better luck obtaining the covid extension.
Depending on how long you wish to stay another option would be to use agent to obtain 12 month extension based on retirement.

How did you arrive at the 50%..
You had a non O after entry, the fact is that you can obtain a retirement extension.
The IO may suggest that you have an option.
I had the visa exempt converted to non o tm 87 . I arrived at 50 % for using an Agent to ask for the covid extension.

Using the info you posted the answer is no.
If you changed to a non-o visa at immigration from a tourist visa or visa exempt then the answer is maybe yes.
@ubonjoeyes the original entry is based on a visa exempt entry 2 years ago. SO I understand with disgression of the immigration officer the Chance to obtain a covid extension is given at 50 %.

My understanding if one let his previous non-oa become invalid by leaving the country. Then apply for a new non-o Single entry retirement in ones home country it is required to present a health 400k/40 k plus usd 50 k covid coverage.

You only need covid/medical insurance that will cover $50,000 US of treatment.
It seems you already have the coverage required that you mentioned in number 2 of your post.
@ubonjoe
1. No I dont have a covid insurance now I need one for covid only for 68 days then I will leave the country and return on the 3rd of august 2022 having the captioned axa insurance from germany.

I cannot predict what will be accepted in July of 2022.
At this time they are not require proof of boosters. But I assume as long as the booster shot was within the required time frame it would be accepted.
The EU has validated the Basic vaccination 2 shots with 9 months for eu vaccination pass.
