    I'm certainly not disbelieving the story. I don't know when this happened but yesterday was very hot I had to have the Air conditioning on unless it was written earlier this year

    I noticed your comment about cheaper to rent (short term) via Facebook rather than Airbnb The only thing I would be concerned about if it's a scam,I probably wouldn't take the risk

    Yes Arcadia complex Full of backpackers , Russian families etc They want 1.5 million for a small studio , but it's too busy with Airbnb

    What's the difference then you living in Thailand and Australia? Your still living under 20,000 baht a month in Australia! Ok free medical in Australia I guess if your using a bulk billing doctor But I can't see any difference money wise if your in Thailand?

    Yes ! And many think renting a place outside the "city" areas are cheaper but you need to factor time and costs in transport to go shopping etc. I prefer to be close walking to everything, unfortunately Jomtien in Pattaya has only one expensive supermarket
