Attention MAGA folks! This is how it is done. Even though their elections have yet to be certified, new members of Congress get to attend orientation and start to setup their offices/staff. Do you get it? Do you understand? There is absolutely no reason to withhold the same courtesies to the Biden team.

Incoming lawmakers will attend orientation for new House members

New member orientation is a tradition that allows incoming lawmakers, fresh off securing seats in Congress, to learn more about what's to come as they prepare to take office. A second orientation session will take place later in the month.

Before they officially start their terms, members will need to set up and organize their offices, including hiring staff. And they'll need to learn the ropes and get up to speed on how the House operates.

You can also add Pastor Robert Jefferies, one of Donald's earliest supporters, to the list of expanding previous MAGA people stating that Biden is now the president-elect.

Ah, the Drudge Report, which previously shilled for Donald, has done a full reversal and acknowledges that Biden has won the election. It is pretty bad when even previous MAGA news sites have turned on their beloved leader.

I wouldn't normally post anything about Karl Rove (not a favorite of mine), but even Karl has stated that Biden has won the election and that the final result won't be overturned.

Wow, someone with actual experience in handling a pandemic in the WH responding to the current COVID-19 crisis. It is hard to imagine. Looks like Biden is well on his way to forming an actual functioning government.

Again, you spout generalities without any specific details of where and why. What are you afraid of by giving out exact states and for what reasons? Have you even done any research on recounts and the elections other than coming on here with generic rants?

Does the state concerned foot the bill,  or the person/party which requested the recount that made no difference to the outcome?

 

The cost depends on the state and who is asking for the recount. In Georgia, the state will pay for the recount. In Wisconsin, Donald will have to pay (up front).

Funny how only the Presidential votes are under such scrutiny. What about the House and Senate races? Basically, the MAGA team is stating that there was voter fraud/manipulation for just the Presidential ticket but these fraudsters were not smart enough to fake/manipulate votes for down ballot democrats. Yeah, right that make sense. Not.

It looks like even the official White House Gift Shop recognizes that Biden will be the next US President. They have Biden listed as the 46th President of the United States and have a page already set up.

A recount in Arizona probably won't happen. Presidential candidates would have to be separated by only 200 votes in order to trigger a recount. With the current trend (if it holds), would put Biden ahead by about 6000 to 7000 votes.

The only other recount would be Georgia. Biden currently is ahead by about 14000+ votes (and increasing steadily). It appears that most of the initial ballot counting is done and if the final tally is below the 0.5% threshold then the recount will occur. With over 14,000 votes in Biden's favor it is extremely unlikely a recount would change anything.

If Donald wants a recount in Wisconsin, he will have to pay for it. With a cost of around 2 to 3 Million dollars, will their "now broke/begging for money" organization be able to pay for it? Oh, Wisconsin isn't stupid, they ask for the money up front. I guess we will find out around Nov 18th or so.

Nobody votes for Trump because they want him for president, they just want his opposition less.

Donald's favorability rating has always been below Biden's for at least the past months (and longer). Biden has consistently held an average of a 15 point favorability over Donald.

Election 2020 favorability ratings
