  1. Conservative lawyer John Yoo, who advised Donald on how to bypass Congress, says the constitution will end Donald's term.

What if Trump won't concede? The Constitution will end his term, conservative lawyer John Yoo says

    Quote

The conservative lawyer John Yoo is among the latest legal voices to throw water on U.S. President Donald Trump's attempts to reverse the result of the 2020 election with claims of voter fraud.

None of these cases really look like they have a very high probability of winning," Yoo said. "On the other hand, I think that Trump has every right to and demand that all the states be sure about the votes, so that we all have confidence in the election. But I'll say, looking at past cases, these are very hard cases to prove and generally they don't result in changes in the votes totals on the order by which President Trump lost to Joe Biden.

  2. Just to show you how petty and small the current WH administration truly is, the State Department won't even forward messages from foreign leaders of congratulations on to Biden. That's Donald, always classy...Not.

State Department is preventing Biden from accessing messages from foreign leaders

    Quote

A stack of messages from foreign leaders to President-elect Joe Biden are sitting at the State Department but the Trump administration is preventing him from accessing them, according to State Department officials familiar with the messages.

Traditionally, the State Department supports all communications for the President-elect, which is why many countries began sending messages to State over the weekend. But with Biden prohibited from accessing State Department resources by the Trump administration, because President Donald Trump refuses to accept Biden's victory, dozens of incoming messages have not been received.

Are you sure that's real? It would mean Mr Trump has no control of that particular business.

  4. Looks like the Arizona election result will be universally called for Biden. The Decision Desk just called it for Biden.

Biden is on the cusp of securing Arizona’s 11 electoral votes

    Quote

Trump narrowed Biden’s lead to about 11,600, but he’ll need to secure 74% of nearly 25,000 votes left uncounted to secure the state’s 11 electoral votes.

Several news outlets already proclaimed Biden the winner in Arizona, including Decision Desk who called the race tonight in favor of the Democrat.

Arizona’s recount law is specific. It gets automatically triggered if Trump pulls within 200 votes. There is no other path to a recount in the state.

Even Arizona's Republican AG stated the race is basically over in Biden's favor. The article below is from about a day earlier so that is why the vote count is different than from the above quote. As you can see, the percentages just keep getting worse and worse for Donald.

Arizona Republican AG: ‘Biden will win Arizona,’ claims of fraud not ‘reality’

    Quote

Arizona’s Republican attorney general on Wednesday said it’s highly unlikely that President Trump will win the state over Joe Biden, as he dismissed unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Mark Brnovich noted that Trump would need to be named on at least 65 percent of the 50,000 ballots left to count in Arizona in order to catch up and exceed the president-elect’s final vote count, deeming that this was statistically “very, highly unlikely to happen.”

On Dec 14th, the electoral college will meet and determine which candidates get which electoral votes. That is when Biden will receive over the required 270 electoral votes (most likely 306).

To overcome your ignorance, I will post the process here.

FAQ: What happens next in the presidential election process?

    Quote

The electoral college meets (December 14)

Of course, the votes for president are actually votes for a slate of electors who cast ballots in the electoral college, a gathering held in the 50 states and the District of Columbia on an appointed day in December after the election.

  6. When you can't win an election fair and square, you toss up enough dirt to delay certification so electors vote in your favor. Donald appears to be on the verge of attempting to steal the election and toss American democracy out the window in the process.

Republicans discuss extreme Electoral College play for Trump to cling to power

    Quote

In this long-shot scenario, Trump and his team could try to block secretaries of state in contested states from certifying results. That could allow legislatures in those states to try to appoint new electors who favor Trump over Biden.

"It's basically hijacking the democracy," one lawyer familiar with the process tells Axios. "They've got nothing else; you'd be trying to deny Joe Biden 270."

  7. While Biden gets ready to be President, Donald hides away and sulks. It appears that Donald has all but given up on any Presidential duties (although this may be a good thing).

Donald Trump refusing to work with Joe Biden’s team

    Quote

Trump’s public schedule hasn’t included an intelligence briefing since October 1. The White House hasn’t provided a “readout” of any call between the president and a foreign leader in weeks. He has not met with members of the White House coronavirus task force in months.

If Donald doesn't want to do any work then he should be grateful that someone else is actually willing do it.

American presidency isn't won on popularity, but I'm sure you know that.

Not typically, but it can sway some voters. I posted those favorability rating to show TVF user BritManToo that his assumption that Donald was more favorable than Biden is incorrect. Not that I believe Biden will win solely based on favorability rating but these ratings do give Biden a boost with some undecideds that will "hold their nose" and vote for the least undesirable candidate. There is some speculation that is what hurt Hillary in 2016 so Biden has a wider favorability advantage in 2020.
