    The guy was obviously distressed about what had gone on with the credit cards. His emotions getting the better. However, the staff was offering very little help in confirming the mix-up. They seemed very happy for the guy to run out of steam before offering any info.

    On large vehicles there's virtually no such thing as brake failure. (brakes not coming on). The brakes are on all the time until the brake system is charged up and everything working, the brakes can then be taken off & the vehicle can move. Hence in these cases the brakes (linings etc.) are either worn-out or have broken components rendering the brakes useless anyway even though they are functioning when the peddle is actuated.

    Chester Crown Court imposed a £425,169.10 confiscation order on Tuesday, April 7. Just makes me wonder where the 10p (425,169, 10) came from.

    In all these threads theirs no mention of any consultants who would normally make sure that everything is done as per the agreement. A project like this without consultants would be leaving just about anything & everything up to the contractor, which should never happen.

    Theirs a game of cards going on behind most closed doors where I live, the older Thais wouldn't have much to do otherwise. It will be interesting to see what the penalties are for this lot.

    Surely the consultants should take any blame, as they are the ones overseeing the construction. Then again, their was non mentioned in the above bulleting.

    The photo shows the luggage hold. They must have done a bodge up job with motors & fans etc. Generally the AC compressors are fitted & run off the engine by belts.

    Maybe theirs just more Brits here than other nationals. The crime figures should surely take that into consideration.

    In the wake of this unsettling event, it has been reported that the Iranian Embassy has been contacted to facilitate further actions regarding the case. The embassy's involvement will be crucial for ensuring due diplomatic processes are followed and any legal implications are addressed appropriately. Thais must be getting a little jittery when dealing with the Iranians.
