I always send to fund long stay.., so funds arrive at 2pm...or a bit after.

I tried to start a transfer this morning. Same way I have for years, but something kooky today.

when I entered the amount I want to transfer from my borderless account (or whatever it's called now) 

I box with red letters comes up and says they can't transfer more than 28,000 USD now.

Ok....but my transfer is way less than that!!

Maybe just wait until later...won't arrive until Monday pm anyway.

Anyone run into this block besides me??

When you apply for a non-o visa the 800k baht only has to be in the bank on the day apply. It will need to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply for the one year extension of stay during the last 30 day of the 90 day stay you will get from the non-o visa.

Sorry  I entered the wrong type of visa....will be Visa Exempt.

I read somewhere...probably on this forum..When I exit Thailand to kill off my Non OA, that I can come back in VOA, and then I can transfer the 800,K  to my BKK bank account  before going to IM. To convert the visa on arrival to a Non O. 

The funds will show in my BKK bank account as being from abroad...but not 2 months before....

Only a week or two.

I opened an account at K bank. Rama 9 branch a few years ago. The manager was a nice fellow.

Only showed my passport with my Non O and stay to date page.

I have had 2 different Bkk bank accounts. One in Korat, that I closed, and one here opened at Rama 9.    I have used Bkk bank for over 10 years. Deposited many thousands of baht per year. But that made no difference when I went to the Em Quartier branch to open a new account. I want a account just to use to make my monthly deposits.

BUT, I was told  that I had to have a letter from my Embassy. The clerk showed me the bank rules on her PC and even showed me an example of what she wanted.

The manage came over and confirmed, .. Said my Embassy had to certify my passport or something like that.

Made no difference that I have, or had in the past had, an account with that bank now.

Bit off topic, but, If I send money to my Kbank account, using Wise, will it show as funds transferred from abroad?

I checked the box to indicated "to fund long term visa" or whatever it says, .....but it shows funds will arrive in seconds, ...not the next day at 2pm like Bangkok Bank.

I would like to try the one year statement from this bank if it is coded the way TI demands.
