Is it possible for me to sign a prenuptial agreement so that if we get divorced she doesn't get anything?
No. Thai law is very specific about who gets what after a divorce. Your wife would be entitled to half of most things you earn/receive/obtain after you are married, but nothing from what you owned before you were married.
A prenuptial agreement, even if entered into willingly by both parties, cannot supersede statute law.

Last year Barclays did a similar thing across its customer base:
What with the spike in inflation and credit card debt in the UK rising at its fastest annual rate in 17 years, it might just be that your credit card company is derisking itself as much as possible.
Don't forget that credit companies have different appetites for risk at different times. Perhaps they are trying to reduce future non performing loans before they happen, and you just got caught up in the changes.

Your main issue is using FedEx. There are many many topics on the forum about the carriers and their assessment of duty, and the answer is always use USPS.
You really don't have to get every item you send valued. Instead you state the value on the customs declaration form that is attached to the outside of the packaging. Small boxes with a declared value of USD30 or less are almost always automatically passed through the inspection.

The easiest solution is to send the media (hard drive or USB drive) via a USPS signed for service.
Do not send any retail packaging or the original invoice.
Complete the customs documentation with the used value of the goods (USD 30 or less).
You will not have any problems with USPS as they partner with Thai Post.

HS Code 8471.702000 Hard Drives are exempted from import duty
However you will still need to pay VAT on the assessed CIF value and the handling charge.

HS Code 8471.702000 Hard Drives are exempted from import duty, but require a permit from the Department of Industrial Works to import, which would be impossible for you to obtain.
The fact that the hard drive is used doesn't really matter - all goods have a value, and this will be calculated for the addition of VAT.
Considering that a permit is required, if you receive a reasonable sounding invoice which you can pay to get your goods then my advice would be to just pay it quickly and move on.

Is there any truth in Grab are x2 price of metered cars in your experience ?
Anyone know how Bolt compare in price to metered ?
Yes, they are definitively more expensive. At least 1.5x and sometimes 2x.
It's relative though. If I'm at the end of a soi and it's raining I'll pay the extra to not get wet walking to the main road.
I also appreciate not having to constantly give the driver directions.
I've heard Bolt is cheaper, but I've never used the app myself.

Knox is good but it is not uncrackable
That's not the point though is it. It doesn't need to be uncrackable. It just needs to be uncrackable by criminals who steal phones, or their associates.
There is no known public way of cracking Knox, so on that basis I am happy to keep using my fingerprint to unlock my phone and my apps.

Thank you. You seem well informed. Can you pinpoint the relevant sections that I am referring to so they can be google translated? Or is there an English translation available?
No sorry, you are going to have to do your own searching.

Can you provide links to the law?
It depends what you mean by the law. These changes were not brought about by primary legislation. The Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) gives the Contract Committee of the Consumer Protection Board the power to regulate businesses and contracts.
On 12 February 2017 the Contract Committee used these powers to issue a “Notification of the Contract Committee Re: The Stipulation of Residential Property Leasing as a Contract-Controlled Business B.E. 2561 (2018)” and published this stipulation in the Government Gazette on 16 February 2018. This notification made the lease of residential property a contract-controlled business from 1 May 2018.
A second Notification was then issued on 29 January 2020, "Re: The Stipulation of Residential Property Leasing as a Contract-Controlled Business B.E. 2562 (2019)", which was published in the Government Gazette on 31 October 2019 and took effect from 30 January 2020.
If you want to find a copy of the Notification then go to https://ratchakitcha.soc.go.th

That's not what the law said about electricity. In essence, the law said that the landlord could not charge more than what they were charged, plus a small percentage to cover items like meters and wiring.
This is important because landlords of large properties with multiple units often pay a commercial rate for electricity, which is more expensive than the domestic rate. At the minute, such large users are paying a little under 5 baht per unit, which means a charge of 5 - 5.5 baht per unit is absolutely realistic.

but one needs to be on line or not
Yes, your phone needs internet access. Either mobile data or wifi. You can use public wifi if you choose.

Yes, going to need a mobile data connection. Those of us who manage by using home/coffee shop/restaurant/friends Wifi connections will have to think again!
You can use a wifi connection, it does not have to be mobile internet. The only limit is the code lasts for 15 minutes, so the coffee shop needs to be reasonably close to the SCB ATM.

I understand your point of view. This particular law has remained unchanged since 1925.
