Paid hourly at around 750thb p/h, both teach English online for 75-85k per month.

Don't need to leave their living rooms, no dealing with Thais. Who on Earth would trundle off in the heat to some Thai school to dance around like a monkey for 40 or 50k. ????

I have a 3BB card, same size as an ATM card, but heavy laminated paper, that has the barcode on that.

At anytime in the month I just give it to the 7-11 staff to scan.

I've gotten great deals on property here.

Perhaps those ones don't need the money, if they did, they'd sell them cheaper.

There's a row of 5 nice townhouses built by the same person 5 years ago. They've sat empty since completion with for sale signs. We called, they refuse to rent, only to sell.

They could rent them for at least 15k a month, probably 20k as the location is good. 

4.5 million in rent at the lower price with 100% occupancy since they were built. Say 3.5 mill realistically. 

Perhaps built as a gift to pass onto the kids. 

Obviously don't need the money (to pay off any loan used to build them, so likely paid for with spare cash).

If they did need the money they'd have sold them cheaply or rent them out until sold.

Not every Thai is some peasant earning 5k a month and living in some field, no matter how much you fool yourself. 

My second concurrent 5 years driving license will expire soon.

The last time, nearly 6 years ago (get it just after your birthday and you get nearly 6 years from it, as it runs, or ran 5 years + until your birthday), I didn't have to redo any of the driving tests, only the physical depth of field, braking reaction time etc. As it was a few days after the previous one expired.

However there was a time frame, I forget of a few weeks, or a month, or 3 months, after expiration, whereby after you need to start as new and do the actual driving tests again.

Does anyone know how long after a 5 year Driving License expires, you have to renew it before having to spend a day or half a day doing the actual driving tests and that awful 2 or 3 hour long video?

I suppose putting measures in to slow vehicles down is a bit beyond them, or possibly isn't being done as they'd be ignored and just result in more morons killing themselves and others.
