I didn't mean they were built as hotels but these type of large condos are usually only bought by prospective renters, like The Edge as well. Who would want to live there?

Who deposits money without knowing the amount? and lets the Teller go next door to count it !!!

I think that Unixx, like the Base, is a lost cause. They were both built as hotels not condos. In my condo it only works because we have the full support the Committee and the Office/JPM.
One option yourself would be to look up on AirBnB which condos are offering stays under 1 month and report them to Immigration.

When was that?
Just last month. I had opened a BBK account purely to get the FTT on my 65k transfers. A waste of time. Too risky to argue the toss with Immigration next year that my transfers were valid.

The CBX was great but i don't think it was a commercial success. I doubt if Honda would make the same mistake again.

Plus i find it is almost impossible to fit a normal tyre pressure guage in between the wheel spokes.

I was in Hungry Hippo yesterday (every table was full) and they offer a breakfast now for 99 baht which looks every bit as good as the old Retox baht buster.

I own a condo in Jomtien and have never (to my knowledge) filled in a TM30. I do my normal annual extensions and 90 day reports and it is never mentioned. I don't travel much but am sometimes in other provinces or out of the country.

Like to know who manipulates the prices on imported wine? I have cut back 80% in buying due too ridiculous price increases. Noted a 1.5 litre red ( drinkable) has recently gone from 454 baht to 620 baht. No one seems to buy the cardbox wine anymore that has a short shelf life, some dumb prices like 1500 baht for fruit base wine. Just hope those behind this sting are losing sales and money.
I made a big mistake the other day. Bought a 5 litre box of red wine knocked down from 1500 to 1000 baht. The date showed it as 6 months old which i thought might be OK. It wasn't. I am not fussy but it had clearly gone bad, totally undrinkable. Be careful out there.

People are mad to drink and drive in Pattaya, especially a bike. So many good cheap options to get home. I can't believe it when i see guys in the bar all night then leave at 1am on their bikes.

He must have known every time he rang the bell everyone got drinks and no doubt came up to thank him. Just another cheap scate scammer. The girls must have been <deleted> after 20 drinks

I wonder what the Indian guys here on holiday do. They must be used to real Indian food at cheap prices back home. Maybe that's why all the Indian restaurants are empty.

Yes that puts me off going in, apart from the high price. I don't like being the only customer and you have to question how fresh is the food. Even the ones in the Indian areas, like around WS, are empty.

Is it worth the cost. TVs are so cheap now. You were lucky it lasted 4 years.
-
Your fault for paying in advance. NEVER pay before the food arrives.
-
Don't. For 500k or a bit more buy a new car.

We sued our developer for unpaid maintenance fees, and won.
-
Surely all the common areas, like the pool, will remain in the ownership of the developer. They can't be bought by any condo owner. Any maintenance of these areas are paid by the Condo from annual fees (including those from the developer for unsold condos).

Yes, we should all go out and pick 800k off of the money trees we planted in our gardens last year and then deposit it into a Thai Bank. Why we think of this before? Thanks Hennyford!
You worked all your life and decided to retire to a foreign country without even $26000 to your name. You certainly live up to your forum name.

When i bought a bike recently i needed a copy of the deposit i paid for the bike, not the full sale receipt.
No one is going to buy a car/bike without being sure they will get a res cert afterwards.
