  1. I used AQ.in.th to get the Thai pass. They charged 2995 Baht. They sent me the pass with QR code this morning, took 10 hours.

Hotel requires me to provide flight out and where going after one night. I need to do things in Bangkok, like open bank account get affidavit for marriage so have a relative of GF  where I will stay and his address written in Thai.

I enter on Visa exempt and plan on extending this will immigration require another flight out ticket when I extend?

I can buy one for first 30 days at Bangkok airways to Phnom Penh for 37 euros.

Also I will need to go to immigration and register a TM 30 when staying at his address on first day is this correct

I have two certs. One is the EU vaccination cert and the other is on The Covid Tracker app which you can download to your phone.

You probably dont need two but I used them as TP asked for Covid cert in two places

Excellent I have now got the two and will use the COVID tracker fully vaccinated for number1 along with QR code.

Did you upload the whole of the EU certificate or just the portion you have showed as half the info is upside down if you show the whole certificate?

Since TP ask for Covidf Cer in two places I insertedf both. EU Cert and country ( Ireland) issued. Both have QR codes but no pasport nos.  Applied 1st Nov. Got TP QR code approximately 12 hours later. Not flying until 14th November so I think earlier departures being prioritised is not true

I am living in Ireland but only have one EU vaccination cert are you saying you have 2. Or that you put the same certificate and QR codes in both vaccination 1 and 2 boxes

    Hi folks,

Have been lurking in this thread, but i just received my approval and QR code and wanted to let you all know what i did and timelines as it may help someone.

    - applied on 1st Nov, no confirmation email, but on screen success message. (using hotmail)

    - heard nothing for days, then went hunting and found this forum.

    - created a new gmail account this morning and reattempted registration

    - *** confirmation email and approval with QR received in under a minute*** (obviously automated)

    About me:

    - British passport, but living in Spain

    - Used EU Covid certificate with QR code/ no other docs for this (uploaded the same cert for both doses) Note that i took a screengrab of the QR and uploaded seperately on both doses.

-Insurance cert uploaded was purchased from AXA

-Agoda hotel confirmation that states test and transport is included in booking

Hopefully this may help someone. G.

Hi gdog, did your EU cert show dates of first and second doses or just the date of final dose?

Got the approval 12 hours after submission. I should mention that I've uploaded two electronic generated QR codes for first and second vaccination additional to the certificates (EU certs without passport number).

Did your EU cert just give date for final or second dose and have 2/2 on it or did it give details of first dose also as this was previously an issue.

I'm from EU and can only get vacination certificate which says dose 2/2. Government portal doesn't give out the first dose certificate (as it is useless info).

    Did anyone have/solve this problem?

I also am in the same boat as you and read a post that they were refused due to no date for 1st dose. Did anyone apply and succeed with a Vacc cert like this?

  7. When it comes to the vaccination certificate details it asks for details of 1st dose and 2nd dose, but the EU certificate just shows 2/2, so showing the same certificate for both maybe the problem.

I have a card showing details of type of vaccine given , batch number etc.

Has anyone rejected tried using this card to show your first dose , then the certificate and QR code for the second.

Also how long is the pass valid for before your entry?

A couple of posters have had rejections because their Passport Number is not on the cert (Maverick1976 - on page 6 of this thread).

By editing in your passport number !!!...

I know you don’t want to but its not really ‘doctoring' a certificate or changing information, it is simply adding required / necessary information - the certificate is just the piece of paper (JPG) required to ‘check a box’ with the Thailand Pass system - its is the QR code which is the important piece of information.

I’d recommend not making life difficult for yourself by refusing to simplify the process and just go ahead and add in your passport number (and nationality) to the Certificate.

How do I edit the  certificate in PDF using a smart phone, I can convert it to jpeg after easily

  9. Regarding the vaccination certificate here in Ireland you have a card with type of vaccine given and dates then they post you one certificate after your second vaccine.

This is the EU vaccine certificate has a QR code, your name and D.O.B it doesn't have your nationality or passport number.  Thai Embassy/ consulate should know this , you shouldn't have to edit them yourself to include these details as then you are submitting a doctored cert.

Anybody from Ireland, I am Uk citizen had these rejected by Thai pass & go yet.

If they reject them how do we get a pass?

  10. I am also a UK citizen living in Ireland. After the closing of the Dublin consulate we are now supposed to use the London Thai Embassy.

Phil did you register your details and create an account for the E visa online or was it after that stage it said you couldn't use it or before.

Curious as I will also be applying for a visa but may well go visa exempt and extension if it proves so difficult to obtain visa.

Ok, fair play to you. But now we know.

All these arbitrary requirements does create its problems for inexperienced people.

Friend of mine was denied boarding with a valid return ticket. Because Qatar airlines wasn't updated that the visa exempt had been extended to 45 days. He was stonewalled and then tricked into wasting 100s of dollars on a new RETURN ticket within 30 days..

He was worried about loosing his ASQ, COE etc. so just forked out.

It seems the airlines are not in sync with 45 day rule visa exempt and many people could fall into that situation. So you would need to book a return ticket within 30 days to meet the airlines guidelines, regardless of if you intend to extend the visa Exempt?
