  1. Thanks. Do you feel like you need these to sleep occasionally - a couple of nights per week? Or do you see yourself using such a product every night? It would be good to get a report on how you are affected when you do not consume a gummy. Given that these are illegal here - no THC extracts - we'll have to rely on illegal imports. I can't see that changing anytime soon. If anything THC might become more tightly controlled. And I'm not sure if CBN (for the THC:CBN products) extraction is legal here. A lot of people are looking for sleep aids, preferably something safe and natural.
  2. Clearly they didn't poll the student activist organization known as "Bad Student", who claim that their first dictatorship is School. Uniforms, like prostration and mandatory hair-styles, are vestiges of the past and not proven to enhance the educational experience. All the reasons given to support uniforms are flawed. Every student knows who is richer/poorer and where they fit in the Thai social pyramid. A uniform is not the Great Equalizer most readily claim. And then there are multiple uniforms: standard, sport, scout, paramilitary which increase cost. I'll give it up for a polo shirt, shorts or slacks (unisex, skirts optional) and choice of footwear. Control of hair-styles has been liberalized and society hasn't collapsed.
  3. Chonlanan Srikaew is a physician and in leadership of the Pheu Thai Party. He is vocal in his opposition to Cannabis liberalization, as is PTP in general. MoveForward is also anti-Cannabis. He has been expressing an interest in the Minister of Public Health position, for PTP and presumably, himself. If that happens it is likely that he will relist Cannabis as a Narcotic on day 2, but still allow some few strictly controlled medical applications (mostly CBD based) as things were pre June 9, 2022.
  4. He's slippery. And while he wasn't charged and convicted like the Suthep Gang, he did attend the Bangkok Shutdown protests and called for the the Yingluck administration to resign and for Parliament to be dissolved. He'll neve be able to get rid of the stench. Believe me, he'll be back at the first scent of unrest.
  5. I'm trying to assist a neighbor with their 90 day report online. They are registered on the system, but they have a new passport with which they entered the country (~ 8 weeks ago). And they subsequently renewed their ext stay/ret at CW ~ 6 weeks ago. I assume they will have to do this first report with the new passport in person at CW? However, to use the online system for their next report do they have to re-register with the new passport, or can you use an existing 'account' with a new passport? And a side question, is the old TM30 (associated with the previous passport) still valid? Or should a 'new' TM30 have been filed on the most recent entry with the new passport? (same address)
  6. Probably smoking crystal meth. That's what Italian Fridge Guy was up to when he lost his S**t. Dropped the pipe or tipped the torch, pants on fire, flames, panic, fire extinguisher.
  7. Replied. I think those are fake, by that I mean real candy with no THC. The THC versions are labelled TRRLLI
  8. So recent experience indicates that the average door-to-door processing time might be six weeks. Which aligns with the stated target ("five to six weeks") by the USEMB/BKK. Previously, ca. 2021 and before it was more like two or three weeks. I wonder what part of the process changed? Six weeks is fine, certainly better than if in the U.S. (with or without expediting), just need to be aware of that for planning purposes re: extension renewals, travel, etc.
  9. Thanks. Can you post a photo of the Trolli bag, front and rear?
  10. I've followed your links. I did not see any "actual bank records". Can you simply post one link to these "actual bank records"? Or even an image? And ideally some direct linkage between these "actual bank records" and Joseph or Hunter Biden.
  11. Not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. I guess his Thai wife was denied a visa back in 2021, at the Chiang Mai Consulate, and that set him off. The Marines were guards there. He also may have/had cancer? WELTON asserted, "But it ends, it ends. I'm getting a little bit of the cancers upon me, you know, so I don't give a <deleted> anymore. The idea of a suicide vest means I don't have to go through chemotherapy." https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nced.191669/gov.uscourts.nced.191669.1.0.pdf
  12. There are a lot of considerations involved in your relo and subsequent decisions: tax (U.S.), visa/ext (THL), communications. Is there any way to maintain an address, from your old/current one to a new one, in the U.S., perhaps via a family relation? IME that is ideal. Keeping the condo would make this easier. I think, very broadly speaking, Schwab may be more ex-pat friendly. Fidelity should allow you to keep your account, but they may limit trading activity if you are outside the U.S. With Fidelity you can change your contact info online. Make sure you sort out communications issues BEFORE relocating. Specifically mobile phone/SMS for one time passwords. Google Voice works well with Fidelity.
  13. Steering back to the topic... Can you share how long it took for you to feel the effects? Did you consume one entire gummy? Can you comment on this second option? Good? Better (than the first)? Thanks.
  14. Yeah, but you do not know anything about that person's medical history, their psychological history. Labeling them as an addict does more harm than good. Yes, but is it addictive? Is caffeine addictive? Many people develop a tolerance for caffeine. This means that your body adjusts and gets used to having caffeine every day. Over time, you might find that you must keep increasing your caffeine intake to achieve the desired effects of alertness and ability to concentrate. Your body can have a dependence on caffeine, but it’s not technically an addiction. It raises dopamine, but the level is small. Illegal stimulants like methamphetamine (“meth”) and MDMA (“ecstasy” or “molly”) cause a huge surge that messes with the reward circuits in your brain. You get “addicted” to ecstasy, and “dependent” on caffeine. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/15496-caffeine-how-to-hack-it-and-how-to-quit-it Bingo. Exactly my point. So we need to understand what constitutes reasonable use, and what are the line(s) between (reasonable) use and abuse. Hence my questions...
  15. You would be wrong. Surely there must be studies which delineate cannabis use on a scale from reasonable use through to addiction, and use disorders which result in schizophrenia and paranoia. Nearly every study here, nay every anti-cannabis post, harps on the few who have problems. Understanding what constitutes safe, reasonable use would help us all. I don't even think anyone has defined "cannabis addiction" here, yet? It's this kind of off-the-cuff diagnosis - I assume you are not qualified to judge if someone is addicted, especially if you're never met them - that does more harm than good. How does an addicted person "sound"? And it's an insult which is probably against the forum rules?
  16. For me, same-same GV, UM, SKYPE, even LINE. Maybe once in a hundred calls I get some unmanageable delay. Just hang up and call again. UM=UltraMobile GV=Google Voice
  17. Five baht per pill. BP reported as little as two baht per pill, retail price for single dosage, not some wholesale. massive volume unit price. I think crystal meth is more expensive. Meth Use Rising in Thailand as Prices Fall, Study Finds A tablet of powdered meth, commonly known as yaba, which means “crazy medicine” in Thai, now goes for as little as 86 cents or even 58 cents in the north of Thailand near the border with Myanmar, Nantapol said. That is as little as one-fourth of what it cost a few years ago. He said prices for more potent and addictive crystal meth have plunged over the same period too, from $52 to $58 before to anywhere from $14 to $29 now, depending on the purity. https://www.voanews.com/a/meth-use-rising-in-thailand-as-prices-fall-study-finds/6975741.html
  18. Given the resulting acronym I though this was a joke. Is it? Are there any terms for reasonable cannabis use? Any studies? Any signs we should look for?
  19. Ex-sponge. That sounds like Don Jr. The effort to expunge his impeachment is without historical precedent. Georgetown University Law Professor Jonathan Turley, whose expert advice Republicans sometimes seek, noted that the U.S. Constitution contains no provision for expunging impeachments. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-house-republicans-seek-expunge-trump-impeachments-2023-06-23/
  20. I would encourage House republicans to bring articles of impeachment ASAP. They claim to have evidence of bribery/extortion committed by then VP Biden. Now if they don't really have evidence then maybe they should stop making false allegations.
  21. FM Don's primary rationale seems the be the "length of the border". AFAIK, this length has remained constant over the years so I am unclear on why that's justifacation now? IMO, if he had a good reason he would have used it by now. Suspect this is some tidying up before the transition to the next government.
  22. Up for me. Both web and Sec38 app. Web loaded a bit slowly but able to log in, see past filings. Could be a VPN issue? Are you in Thailand? When was the last time you logged in? Any changes since then?
  23. Why 15 weeks? DeSantis signed a six week ban in Florida. I don't think 15 weeks will fly with conservatives. Lindsey Graham got pilloried when he suggested a nation-wide 15 week ban. Republican religious fundamentalists say life begins at conception and abortion is murder, ergo any abortion is murder, so they should just demand a complete, Zero-week ban on abortion, in any/all (rape, incest, age, health of mother, etc) cases. And what, pray tell, happened to the SCOTUS Dobbs decision saying that this is a States-rights issue?
  24. Good parking job with the Porsche, lined up perfectly. Wait, what. That's the living room. Never mind.
