  1. The Department of Justice has proven to me that they are worthless when it comes to protecting the rights of the little guy.
  2. Perhaps the female victim's full name is Miss Ding Dong, or, better yet, Miss Ding A Ling.
  3. The only people who threw water on me during Songkran were two giggling Western males in their late 20s. The Thais refused to do it out of respect for my age.
  4. Why would you want to see four men hanged in Singapore for Cannabis smuggling? Tobacco is legal and it kills more than 400 thousand people a year in just the USA alone. Uncle Sam allows the sale of tobacco because he gets a kickback on every pack of cigarettes sold.
  5. I bought a treadmill and was doing quite a bit of walking on it but after a few months it made the lower portions of my legs red and itchy. So, I gave up walking and now swim exactly one kilometer a day six days a week.
  6. Thailand is a breeze and I would not trade living here for any other place. My Thai neighbors are all polite and respectful people and the best neighbors anybody could possibly have. That being said, having lived in San Francisco, I know how upsetting it can be to have neighbors who are loud, obnoxious, and rude. (Note: most rude people in San Francisco are transplants from other parts of the USA and not native Californians.)
  7. Trump should be shipping guns to the White South Africans and encouraging them to get organized and protect themselves.
  8. Maybe the tourists thought after reading "Bang Lamung Beach" that they were required to have sex there.
  9. I love the Thais! They are polite and respectful and always well-behaved. In fact, I could not ask for better neighbors. Also, in the little over six years that I have lived here in Thailand, I have never felt unsafe, like I did in downtown San Francisco.
  10. I have a problem with stuttering.
  11. Don't make me laugh. The English-speaking world doesn’t know the first thing about proper spelling. If it did, there wouldn’t be a need for pronunciation keys in every English dictionary.

  13. We don't even know at this point in time if she knew she was carrying those drugs. So, why not get all the facts first before jumping to conclusions?
  14. That should be seriously considered. If I were to fly into Singapore, it would be with carry-on luggage only, which was never out of my sight.
  15. In Sweden most rapes are committed by non-Swedes, but if you report that fact you might get thrown in jail there.
  16. I've never had a problem with the Thai police and have always had a high opinion of them. I do remember more than 60 years ago hitchhiking down the Thai-Malay peninsula with an Englishman and the police allowing us to pitch our tents in the front yard of the police station. The police even brought us breakfast in the morning. Anyway, just be polite and respectful of the Thais and you will never have any problems.
  17. I'm from San Francisco, a politically corrupt city, so I'm in no position to do any finger-pointing at others.
  18. Or among San Francisco's homeless population.
  19. In my backpacking days, I hated staying in the same youth hostels with Germans because they always had to get up at some ungodly hour of the morning and disturb every civilized person still in bed.
  20. Ah, so after making a personal attack, you now play the 'let’s not argue' card. Convenient. But sure, let’s pretend this was about avoiding bickering rather than dodging accountability.
  21. Ah yes, when backed into a corner, change the subject entirely. That’s one way to avoid addressing your own contradictions.
  22. Ah, so rather than addressing your own hypocrisy, you shift to a personal attack. Classic deflection. And since when does mentioning life experiences equal arrogance? Seems like you're grasping at straws.
  23. Interesting. Weren’t you the guy who was just speaking out against sweeping generalizations and stereotyping? Or does that principle only apply when it suits you?
  24. I already gave you two examples; you're just not paying attention.
  25. Are you an Israeli? If not, how much time have you spent in Israel? Did you work there? Also, have you ever traveled with Israelis or done business with them? How many years did you spend backpacking around the world, staying in youth hostels, and crossing paths with different nationalities? Bottom line, I can give you examples of how Israelis portray their arrogance and sense of entitlement, but you're not genuinely seeking information—your questions are just rhetorical.
