  1. That was called the knockout game by the perpetrators, who were low IQ Blacks. Their victims were almost exclusively White or Asian.
  2. I wrote, "if you are going to engage in an activity with the deliberate purpose of upsetting other people then whatever happens to you is on you." So, are you suggesting that a person who deliberately sets out to antagonize others by playing loud music, or stinking up one's neighborhood with rotting garbage is not responsible for any unpleasant consequences that may befall him?
  3. I find it difficult to have any sympathy for people who deliberately antagonize their neighbors. When I lived in San Francisco there was always some A-hole who played loud music just to disturb and upset others. So, bottom-line, if you are going to engage in an activity with the deliberate purpose of upsetting other people then whatever happens to you is on you.
  4. I don't think that would be in anyone's best interests, but I do understand your sentiments.
  5. If it was up to me, I would exercise diplomacy and remain polite and respectful while informing the Chinese what they are requesting is unacceptable. However, at the very same time I would also inform them that in the interest of fairness they would be given the opportunity in the Thai Press to challenge and refute any news articles and broadcasts they disagree with.
  6. It depends on the situation. People are always hesitant to help in a situation that might endanger them personally. If a car skids off a road and crashes into a tree, other motorists will immediately stop and render their assistance to those individuals in the crashed vehicle. On the other hand, if a criminal is physically assaulting someone, then very few people anywhere will help. But that is to be expected in a society that feminizes men and considers masculinity to be toxic. In my own case, I have intervened on behalf of my fellow citizens who were being victimized by criminals many times.
  7. Section 374. Refusal to Render Assistance "Whoever sees any person in life danger, in spite of the ability to assist without fear of danger to oneself or the another person, refuses to render assistance shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than one month, or a fine not exceeding one thousand baht or both." https://library.siam-legal.com/thai-law/criminal-code-misdemeanors-sections-367-374/
  8. Glad to hear that! I haven't touched the old girl in years due to her eating disorder and her current weight of 352 pounds.
  9. I'm sure you'll feel better if you just take a few days off, relax, get a massage, and go out and buy yourself a new dress.
  10. Let me get this straight, you're leaving this website because someone on these forums upset you????
  11. That might be helpful, but it won't resolve your anger issues. You'll need professional counseling for that.
  12. And if you were to read out loud anything written in contemporary English orthography pronouncing every word exactly as it was written none of us would understand you. Hence, when English-speakers learn to read, they do so by memorizing the words, not by sounding them out. And for that very reason children in the English-speaking world are lagging two years behind their Finnish peers in Finland, where the written language is an exact representation of the spoken language.
  13. No, my contention is that the United States has ethnic and racial groups that have much higher homicide rates than Israel's Jews. In the United States, for example, African-Americans comprise 13% of the total population but they commit more than 50% of the nation's homicides. Latinos makeup about 18% of the population and have a homicide rate of around 20%.
  14. Absolutely, and long before you were defecating in your diapers.
  15. I don't debate drunks, so come back when you've sobered up.
  16. Of course this is different, elephants don't know any better, whereas criminals do. That having been said, one does not need a lethal jolt of electricity to discourage animals from entering his property. In fact, my cousin had an electric wire that prevented her horses from wandering off. Also, according to the article, installing electric fences against wild animals is illegal and a serious offense. So, it looks like the plantation owner has gotten himself into a lot of hot water with the authorities.
  17. Oh come now! The English language hasn't been spelled correctly for centuries.
  18. Give me a break, Pal! How, in the name of God, would that be relevant, given the fact that the United States is racially and ethnically diverse, whereas Israel's population is mostly homogenous, with the majority of its population being Jewish.
  19. No they didn't! You're entitled to your own opinions, but not to your own facts.
  20. The following is from the U.S. Embassy's website. Arrest of a U.S. Citizen in Thailand While in Thailand, U.S. citizens are subject to its laws and regulations. Persons violating the law in Thailand, even unknowingly, may be fined, arrested, and/or deported. If detained, a U.S. citizen will have to go through the Thai legal process of being charged, prosecuted, and possibly convicted and sentenced. It is important to keep in mind that the legal process in Thailand can differ significantly from the one in the United States and may not provide the same protections available in the United States. In the event of an arrest, the U.S. Embassy will do all that it can to ensure that a U.S. citizen is not discriminated against under local Thai law, but it will not be able to guarantee the same protections available under U.S. law. U.S. consular officers provide a wide variety of services to U.S. citizens arrested abroad and their families; however, they cannot interfere in the Thai judicial process. If a U.S. citizen is arrested, ACS Consular officials should be notified immediately. This may be done by the police at the time of arrest, or by a friend or relative of the detainee.
  21. I lived and worked in Israel for five months and also stayed at the youth hostel in Ein Gedi and I also saw visitors there who were armed. However, unlike you, I'm still not too lazy to do a little research. Also, no mining of Wiki was necessary, given the fact that the demand by Israelis that their government loosen its restrictions on private gun ownership is current news there.
  22. Do you ever get the facts straight? Do a little research and you'll find out that Israel has some of the most restrictive Gun Control laws in the world with fewer than 8% of Israeli homes having firearms.
  23. Yes, but it was those armed Israelis who put a stop to the invasion of their country by Hamas terrorists, not the unarmed and defenseless.
