What the Thais do with Thaksin is none of my business. Right now it's the political corruption in my hometown of San Francisco that concerns me because it directly affects me.

I have a friend with a Non-O visa which will expire next month on October 19th 2023. He got the visa last year and would now like to know if he leaves Thailand before his visa expires and reenters Thailand will he automatically get another year on his visa?

Pushy Beggars, in Thailand???? I have been here since February 2019 and so far I haven't come across one beggar. I also hitchhiked all over Thailand back in the 1960s and never once crossed paths with any beggars. On the other hand, San Francisco, which is my hometown, is full of pushy and sometimes aggressive and dangerous beggars. Bottom-line, I'm very happy living here in Thailand. The people here are very polite and friendly and I can walk anywhere without the need to be continually on guard.

Those Thai bar workers are lucky the Indians involved weren't Apaches, otherwise they may have lost their scalps. ????

This form of insanity has even afflicted the Florida State Athletic Commission when it once sanctioned a Mixed Martial Arts bout between a woman and a man claiming to be a woman.

Maybe the guy did hang himself. I'm not a shrink, but it seems to me that a Western male who feels the need to have tattoos on his face would be very dissatisfied with himself and suffer from low self-esteem. That, of course, is just a guess.
