Thai-Flagged Cargo Ship Abandoned After Attack Near Strait of Hormuz
The observation regarding the outwardly bent hull plates possibly being the result of an internal explosion is a basic observation that could be made by most any person with an understanding of grade school level physics. Whether this event was the primary explosion or a secondary explosion cannot be really determined from a single external picture of the vessel. An inspection of the damaged space(s), the hull exterior, communication reports, ships log etc and crew interviews would typically be completed prior to making a definitive report.

Immigrant Trump Supporter Arrested By ICE
A quick search using that new tool ‘Google Search’ shows the reason for his arrest is widely reported and to quote Yahoo News… ‘Junior Pena, whose Instagram account boasts almost half a million followers, was detained in New Jersey after missing a court hearing related to his own immigration status, a friend told the Brazilian Times.’ (https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/ice-arrests-wing-influencer-defends-173107962.html).

QR Codes Use Gone Mad ?
They are not always available in some places you may find me or I would need to travel 5-8 km to make a small purchase and get change. The alternative is using the PromptPay code proudly displayed at the shop/cart, make the payment and on my way…. Fast, Efficient and helps ‘Save the Planet’ too. cheers 🙏

Donald Trump’s Medical Records Sought in Lawsuit
While ‘translations’ may have a small impact on the overall judgement, I believe the ‘Original Language’ of any statement or production and as submitted in an official transcript would be the primary evidence used by the court.

British Groom Denied Thailand Flight Over Damaged Passport
If we are required to have PP with no water damage, torn pages etc then it should be required that all visas, stamps and similar use water resistant ink & papers. additionally… immigration official should never ‘Staple’ documents to any pages (this is technically Defacing the PP) and use a system that reduces of additional documents…. 🫣 My picture page of my current PP has staple marks added by a local IO for a TM-30. I was able to gently remove the staple & relocate the doc to a new page. There really should be an International standard for PP as the current system is not inline with strict requirements set by airlines, IOs and more. Perhaps the embedded chip can also carry travel visas & history that synchs with the database. I personally do not like an all digital system (error prone) but the traditional PP / entry-exit system is also prone to errors as displayed by the OP. cheers

John Bolton Indicted News
Grand Jury Indictments regarding National Security are not easily obtained and in fact very difficult to obtain, and are considered very serious. ————- Per ChatGPT (selectively edited 🫣) A grand jury indictment for a national security–related offense is extremely serious — among the most serious types of criminal charges in the U.S. legal system. Grand jury indictments in national security cases are not easy to obtain. Here’s a breakdown of how it actually works: ⚖️ 1. High Evidentiary Standard • Prosecutors must present sufficient evidence of probable cause that a federal crime was committed and that the accused committed it. • In national security matters, the evidence is often classified or intelligence-derived, meaning it must go through special review channelsbefore being shown to the grand jury. • This extra step makes the process slower and more complex, not easier. In national security cases, prosecutors are typically very cautious before bringing charges A grand jury indictment means that a group of citizens, after reviewing evidence presented by federal prosecutors, has decided there is probable cause to believe a crime was committed and that the person named in the indictment committed it. In Bolton’s situation, the grand jury indictment is very serious. It represents formal, high-stakes criminal charges with potential major legal consequences.

Trumps attacks on free speech
I’m fully aware of the authorship of the quote, with the point of interest being Kimmel was not in a ‘Public Square’ for those that may not understand (or choose to ignore) that Free Speech is not a 100% absolute right to say anything at anytime with potential consequences. It would seem any pay out of Kimmel’s contract will most likely the job of one or more Courts and a gaggle of Attorneys to decide.

Trumps attacks on free speech
When Kimmel made his comments he was not speaking in the Public Square (street corner, podcast etc), but as an employee of a Corporation that is licensed by the FCC that includes programming standards and Licensee accepted limits on ‘Individual Free Speech’. As an employee he can still say anything he wants, but is subject to the response of his employer.

Trumps attacks on free speech
In the USA, there is a clear distinction between ‘Broadcast TV’ and ‘Cable TV’. Broadcast TV space is publicly owned, and as such is heavily regulated by the FCC in regards to content and presenting an overall balanced approach at all levels of programming. This also includes some additional limits on the individual free speech rights as protected by the First Amendment. Cable TV is considered a private space with greatly reduced oversight by the FCC, and enhanced freedom for the individual networks to say and do as they desire. It appears that Kimmel while working for ABC (a publicly licensed network) was suspended due to his failure to adhere to the ‘Public Interest Clause’. Given he was employed in a public space at the time he made his comments, he actions are bound by this FCC clause. If he had made the same comment on a Cable network channel, any action or inaction against him would be at the discretion of his employer. Additionally, had he made the comments while doing a personal broadcast he would be free from most FCC regulations, though his employer would still be within their rights to suspend him if his comments where in violation of his employment contract or similar. A concern with the FCC Public Interest Clause is it is often subject to interpretation and for the past 15+ years has often been ignored. Given his employer took action against him, it would appear they understand their responsibility to adhere to their FCC licensing requirements and how the failure to meet those requirements can challenge their success as a business.
