    1. Type of visa: should i put in Covid visa?

    2. Arrived by:  i guess i have to put in Air although it was more than 1.5 years ago but it was how i entered Thailand with my Non-B.  is that correct?

    3. Apply for extension of period : 60days?

Reason of extension: can i just put Covid?

    Yes CW.

Not being picky but just note that your obtaining a "covid extension". Its not a visa (even though immigration might use the term visa).

BTW, I disregarded your reference to 90 day report. I don't think that it would be required, however since you previously had a non B you best ask imm officer when there.

    Cheers.

Thank Jack for the guidance.  I will go to CW to get a a Covid Extension ????  and hopefully it will be done smoothly.

    1. Most offices are not requiring 90 day report from those on 60 day covid 19 extension. A new TM30 report is not needed unless you change your address.

    2. You need copies of your passport photo page, visa, extension stamp, entry stamp and TM6 departure card. TM30 form same as above.

You can download and print out this affidavit to complete it.

    Hi Joe

Thanks for taking time to reply my question.  I also asked a visa agent and she said short term visa holders such as this covid visa is not required to submit 90 days reporting.  ????

I will be trying to renew my covid visa without using an agent this week.  Hope it goes well ???? and i will prepare the list of documents you listed above as well as this Affidavit .  Sorry to ask, should i submit this application at MongThong Thani or Cheangwattana?

    Stay safe!

  4. I am currently holding a 60 days covid that is going to due on 29 Aug 2021.  My 90 days reporting is also going to due on 11 Aug 2021.   My questions are

    1. Do i need to submit a new 90 days report on or before 11 Aug 2021?  If yes, do I need to submit TM30 too as my last TM30  was handled by an agent and i do not have any copy of it.

    2. For the 60 days visa renewal / extension, is it easy to do it by myself?  I want to try to do it without using an agent.  Can someone share with me what are the documents i need to provide for this other than Form TM7?  Do i also need to submit TM30 again?

many thanks in advance and stay safe!!

Turns out the answer was simple, so I'm sharing in case someone else does what I did.

If you're using Chrome, you cannot use Google translation.

    Simple as that.

OP, what about a bit of prevention ? Get your gardens fogged once a month, some insect screens etc

Hi :)  Yes, i think the best option is to install insect screens, but the insect screen is so ugly :P that's why i never bother to install it

Fogging works?  I mean it is open air and does it last long?

In fact the black ones (when you mean the "Black Hole" ARE Co2 types. The UV light shines on a metal part (looks like the "reflector") that part is coated with a thin layer of Titanium DiOxide. (TiO2).Then a chemical reaction finds place what creates Co2 and some Ozon. They also claim that this kills the bacteria and virusses in the air, and  (more important) in the killed insects.

This is a link with an explanation on how it works. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/the-original-blackhole-mosquito-buster-Wih_1960801704.html

Musquitos are attracked by the UV light, but much more by he produced CoIn the time from SARS many elevators in Hong Kong where equipped with UV lamps and Titanium DiOxide reflectors to try to stop spreading the disease.

    Arjen.

    Hi Arjen

Thank you for clarifying.  Now I know a little better.. but still a dumb in this subject.  Is there any brand you can recommend to me?  As i have said, I am desperate..  the mosquitoes is going to kill very soon :(

My UV/black hold type trap worked quite well by the number of mosquitoes in the screened area when cleaned but one almost set house on fire last week so will never use again.  The black plastic became an open flame, probably due to motor overheating.  Have had slightly less good results with UV/zapper type fixtures - noise is not always appreciated and a bit hard to keep clean but gets many.  Just make sure lamps are not led type as they do not seem to work at all.  Nor do any of the electronic types.  Have not seen any Co2 types here and they are normally outdoor traps I believe.  And always keep a wand type at hand as a last resort.  They are cheap but do not last too long before charger fails.

Thank you so much for the tips..  I am considering Black hole but after hearing from you about the overheating I think i better find another alternative...  I am not home all the time and I am quite concern to leave my gf at home alone using it..

You are right, i have never seen a C02 unit in Bangkok either..  i found it online and thought of giving it a try  ..  this is the brand Dynatrap DT2000Xl Insect Trap and amazon is selling USD107.

Thanks alot for the tips again.. it helps alot

  12. Please be careful reading and interpreting revenue code.

Withholding tax are meant for payment made to a foreigner who is not a tax resident and providing their services to local (Thailand) entity in Thailand jurisdiction.  The purpose WHT is to make sure foreigner that earns any income from a local company are paying tax in local (Thailand)jurisdiction before they leave the country.  For your case, WHT is not applicable since you are the service provider to a foreign entity / individual.

If the computer is rented to a foreign entity but it was consumed in Thailand jurisdiction, it is a local supply of services and therefore it is subject to 7% VAT.  For example, Rent THB10,000 + VAT 7% = total on invoice THB10,700.

If the computer is rented to a foreigner entity and consumed in foreign jurisdiction (Dubai in this case), you will not need to bill the client 7% VAT.  In this situation, WHT will comes into picture as you are not a tax resident in Dubai and providing services in Dubai.  This is when you will determine the Double Taxation Agreement between Dubai and Thailand on the WHT rate for rental of movable equipment.  However, there are no WHT in UAE jurisdiction and therefore you are not subject to WHT when you receive the payment from the Dubai entity.
