wow... that's alot of chicken... Have you ever tasted the chicken or the eggs?

i loves good quality free range chicken and one of my favorite is Holland Chicken...but i have never seen before it in Bangkok..

    keep up the good work!

There is 200+++ chickens in my flock at the moment and around 80 youngsters smile.png

Of course I tasted my chickens eggs... I don't eat eggs from shops biggrin.png

My chickens don't eat commercial food, I make it for them myself... and now from noon they can range even more as I let them run on my baboo field smile.png

I regularly send eggs to BKK to my friends... they gather like 4 people and order 4 pallets (1 box - min order).

nice work... happy to see free range chicken in Thailand.. i wish i could do the same.. getting a piece of land and rare some chicken and adopt some stray dogs and retire... haha

  3. Hi Gadanor

A quick answer to your question.

    1. You can rent out the condo you bought in Bangkok and you do not need any work permit or visa for you to do so. You can rent out the condo as an individual even if you do not reside in Thailand (less than 180 days in calendar year).

    2. You will still need to file personal tax return in Thailand for this rental income you earned. You will be taxed under non-resident tax. A tax file number will be given to you.

The above is based on the assumption you rented out your condo on long term basis e.g. one year lease or longer.

But, If you are renting out your condo on a daily basis or if you are actively seeking for people to rent out your condo regularly such as via Airbnb or facebook, newspaper, websites and etc., the tax treatment may be different where you may be deemed as running a business of letting property and the tax treatment will be totally different.

PM me if you want to know more.

  4. Just my few cents. It is very important to have a balance in everything including our meal. Balance diet should consist of vegetables, proteins (substitute with protein vegetables for vegetarian), fruits and carbs.

Carbs are important to our body to activate the metabolic so we should not avoid it but choosing the right carbs and also eating the right amount. Breakfast is good and should never skip your breakfast. I used to skip breakfast for the last 20 years and now I have the habit of eating healthy breakfast.

Some of the food that i always avoid is Sugar. I drink coffee or tea without sugar. I don't drink soft drinks. It is also not advisable to drink fruit juice even for no sugar added fruit juice. It takes about 4-6 oranges to makes one cup of orange juice and it is too much of sugar in it. Cut down on alcohol if you do drink..

Also avoid processed food such as instant oats, sausages, bacon, pop corns, chips, fries, burgers and eat. Oh.. i often see many people on diet taking salads with alot of dressing. That is not good too... good salad dressing should be balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, coconut oil.

These are the food that i usually eat and avoid to eat. Occasionally i do reward myself with some nice food but never over eating it.

One can clearly feel a sad man in a rational and sinister universe...

More like you are referring to yourself ...

We are here to share ideas for a healthy diet not here to make jokes on others.

  5. eyeryone is telling fine of few thousands bucks but i m very worried as i have my widow 75yrs mother staying with me too

    Sorry to hear that.

I think 'everyone' is irrelevant provided they are lawyer and have experience in this.

You should be worry if your lawyer are not able to advise you in this .... What about finding another lawyer .. Especially those with experience handling cases like this.

  6. hi,

i have a case against me for running a 2 million baht company with fake thai nominees( shareholders).i

am going to court soon, does anyone knows the penalty ? has anyone been to case like this?

What did your lawyer told you? He should be able to answer you this better ..

Hope everything is going to be fine for you.. Take care

  7. I started eating brown rice a few months ago ,I always have a measured amount ,I feel full longer and not snack in between meals ,I have lost 5 kilo in about 3 months ,I am not trying to loose weight but am happy that I have ,I exercise daily,I think brown rice is tastier

Yes.. I totally agree with you. I will reduce the portion of my brown rice by at least a quarter compared to white rice and I still full.

I started a healthy diet plan last year, 3 meals a day, vegetables, boiled/grill chicken breast and rice and fruits is all I eat. No soft drinks and no junk food at all.. And I lost 6kg in 3 months... Sometime I even eat 4 meals a day because I can feel my metabolic is higher and I feel hungry faster. ..

Some people are big eater and it is not easy to cut down their meal, I will suggest you to continue to eat the same portion, but choosing the healthy food and also stay active and burn the calories that you eat everyday ..and you will see a bug difference in your health and body shape. Remember taking Sugar is always a big No No..

French fries and instant oats are both pretty healthy. Good fibre, lots of vits and minerals. I certainly agree about soft drinks, fruit juices, and mayonnaise.

The reason I said fries and instant oat is not good because it is a processed food. For fries it has alot of seasoning and often deep fried in oil. So usually I will opt for sweet potato even higher fiber but have to control how much we eat as the sugar level is higher than potato.

Instant oat is processed too. So better alternative is to eat roll oats.. But the texture is very hard..even myself don't like it.. Haha

  10. Brown will takes longer time to digest compared to white rice, so you take a smaller portion to avoid over eating..

Sticky rice is very high in sugar. Not advisable if you are watching your diet.

Beside, one of the highly effective way to reduce weight is avoid eating any sugar especially soft drinks, sweets, and etc.

    No processed food too ...

  11. One of the reason every Thai were given a nickname when they were young was because their traditional Thai name is very long and often not convenient to pronounce daily.

About the funny name I think is because they know limited English words and having English name is easy to pronounce...so comes Beer, Pancake, Oily and etc..

  12. it is very common to get respond from people including OP that huskies are not suitable in hot climate.

It is not 100% true. Most husky have double coat fur. The purpose of double coat fur is to protect the dog from cold and it is also the reason why they survive so well in those crazy cold environment. But many people are not aware that the double coat fur also helps the dog to keep themself cool in a hot environment. I can't comment about whether it applied to all husky, but it definitely applies to my locally breed huskies .... 3 of my husky love sunbathing sleeping under the hot sun.

  13. I don't think hot or spicy food is stupid, I don't think fast food is stupid, I don't think curry is stupid ... it is all about the food culture in that country and everyone has their own preference and I respect you don't enjoy food that is too hot or spicy. Perhaps you should learn how to order food that you like and don't like...

You don't go to India and complain the food uses too much of spices and the curry taste awful. You also don't complain eating pizza and spaghetti taste awful when you travel to Italy and etc.

Furthermore there are many nice food in Thailand that is not spicy at all and you can always dine at fast food chain, japanese food restaurant, and pizza chain if you don't enjoy eating Thai.

    Relax mate

  14. I always travel to Bangkok without my return ticket when I arrive the airport. My most recent trip to Bangkok without a return ticket was 2 weeks ago.

You forgot to mention where from and with which airline ....................

Oh..traveling from Malaysia and usually with AirAsia or Malindo Air.

I think you pointed out something important.. The immigration may have different requirement for different passport holders

  15. This device, which costs almost 18,000 baht, is not really all that much smaller than the 1TB WD external hard drive that cost me 2,000 baht, and which I can plug into my computer or my smart TV just as easily as a flash drive.

For 9 times the price, I'm struggling to see the value of it. But i'm ready to be enlightened. :)

18000baht is enough to buy a laptop too.. I won't spend 18000 on a hard drive too...but I would love to wait for the price to drop ....
